Syracuse barely beat UCONN

About time for the Canes to put up a streak of signature wins this season and the fanbase to stop wishing and hoping other factors are what we need to win.

It's about execution and how you show up any given Saturday.

We aren't playing the Syracuse team from last week or the week before, we're playing whatever version shows up on Saturday 11/30/2024 with the focus and preparation they have going into this particular game.

All we can control or influence is our own focus and preparation this week, and the team that plays better on Saturday will win the game.

If they don’t play with urgency cause the season is on the line they will lose. 2 games left till the playoffs. SMU is a very much improved team that will not be an easy cake walk either. Canes need long sustaining drives and keep both those offenses off the field. Play these games as if it was the national championship was on the line. Cam Wards calmness has become to infectious on the rest of the team.

Don’t see this as a trap game. That might be possible if playing a bad opponent (like UM playing Pitt in 2017) with the ACC championship game already locked in. Would be absolutely shocking if the players don’t understand that if they lose this game we are playing in a second tier bowl game with a quarter of the team opting out.
