Syracuse barely beat UCONN

Cuse will not be a rollover game in the dome next week. They’re going to throw it around a ton. Also, UConn is trash. Please don’t see the 7-4 record and think they’re good. Their wins are against Merrimack, Buffalo, FAU, Temple Gerogia State and UAB. They’re 0-4 against P4 teams Maryland (who beat them by 40) Duke, Wake, and Syracuse. They’re 7-4 like Miami Ohio is 7-4.

So is D. Brown ever coming back?? Would be nice to have him against Cuse

By game 3 I've been under the impression he is out for the season and that's the best way to approach to these long term injuries. I learned last year to not trust anything they say when it comes to injuries. If he pops up great but I'm not holding my breath over it

What does UCONN vs Syracuse tell you about next week?

It was 24-17 heading to the 4th. Not sure of your point.

One team pulled away in the 4th ..the other had to recover and onside kick
Point is you can’t just look at a final score. Saying they barely won isn’t really the case. They were in control (+14) for 2/3rd of the 4th. It would be like us saying we dominated based on the score. We know that wasn’t the case. Or saying we barely won vs Louisville. Op is trying to disparage SU for some reason.

What they do best is what we struggle to stop so we’ll see

yep

Oronde Gadsden 65 catches for 810 yds
Jackson Meeks 66 catches for 801 yds
Trebor Pena 73 catches for 743 yds

Pena and Gadsden will be the two to watch out for.

All 3 are in the ACC top 6 in receiving yards.

So he can trash Ward all game in ways he wouldn't dream of doing for Tyler. One of the weirdest loyalties on all of cis.

Nothing. Syracuse has been all over the map this year. One week they look awesome one week they look like trash. I don’t think there’s much you can take from this game besides don’t do what UCONN was doing in coverage.
Syracuse has never looked awesome. Especially on Defense.
I have no idea what games you have been watching.

This is a very misleading thread title. Syracuse dominated the entire game and the win was never in doubt. UConn got a garbage TD at the end which makes the game appear closer than it was.

My concern is Miami is NOT getting better while the rest of the real contenders are. We need to improve to beat Syracuse and beyond.

On offense they’ve looked really awesome for spurts. They’re third in the nation in passing offense. Defensively….not really. They’re a solid 7-3 team. They beat Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech but lost to sorry *** Stanford so they can be all over the place

Fran Brown got a big decision to make. Do you take the ball control approach and try to keep Cam and the offense off the field or do you sling it around and give our offense equal opportunities to respond. If they take the latter and the defense shows up we will have numerous opportunities to score. If not expect a shoot out.
