Sunday scrimmage

look like ******* clowns with those shoes mane... did they ban black shoes and Im not diggin those jerseys mane..

exactly.... these uniforms are still the worst of all time Golden needs to burn them ***** ASAP and them shoes is terrible. I'm tired of seeing these shoes with the orange tips even the black shoes with the white tips are wack.... they need to be all black PERIOD.

Wasnt Nike suppose to change the fabric or something like that??? i cant even tell.

I was thinking the same thing...

BUT, I think these scrimmages use the uni's from last year. I'm thinking they won't break out the "new" **** until August 30th.

/fingers crossed

I hope so.... Nike better not have been talking **** cuz imma need to see a noticeable difference with how the uniforms fit from top to bottom (above the knees).

I´m sure Nike is holding it´s breath.

Meanwhile is Matthew Thomas even going to crack the 2 deep at FSU?
Nice for recruits to see that when Golden tells them they will play as freshmen if they earn the reps, that its not just a recruiting pitch.

I'm sure you think this a good thing but it's not.

Yeah, I do. I like to see recruits realize that Golden means what he says, whereas other coaches just blow smoke and make insincere promises.

We will see who has a better career out of Figetron, Grace, and that FSU ***. Right now the respective depth charts don't mean ****, especially when Thomas spent the off season acting like a ***** when our guys were busting their asses.

Big difference there boys.

I get a special tingle in my Vineyard Vine Lobster Embroidered Club Shorts whenever I see all these great south Florida players lined up on the field together for Miami. There's nothing like having the kids play in their city with guys they grew up competing against. Special kind of competitor and athlete down here, and their mentality helped mold the Hurricanes.

Let me guess.
If I think Thomas can't make their 2 deep or start for them, that means their linebackers must be outstanding right?
It also might mean that he is a diva and isn't putting the work in, or that he's not as talented as many people think, or, I think this might be the case, that unless a true freshman completely outperforms veterans, a veteran coach will limit his playing time severely, to allow him to develop.

People forget that coaches, who are generally not stupid football wise, know that no matter how talented the freshman is, he's still just a freshman.
Bear Bryant said something like, as many freshmen you start, you should expect at least that many losses.

Buddha generally if someone is low on the depth chart it is because better players are ahead of them. Thats why that other poster said thats not a good thing. Just making sure you understood that point.

I got the point fairly clearly, my mind is just tangential.

I thought my point was obvious, but I must have been nebulous.

I believe that when you recruit a top 5 star, most coaches will tell them they are going to play a lot and maybe start as a freshman, when it usually is a lie.

When verbal commit Mike Smith tweets "dats Artie in front of 9" it seems he's pleasantly surprised to see a true freshman getting reps in the 2 deep, and is subconsciously thinking, "these coaches are for real. They mean it when they tell me if I'm good enough I will play as a freshman."

Maybe I'm trying to psychoanalyze a simple tweet, but I can't help but think that seeing Burns, Coley, Figs, Carter, AQM etc., getting meaningful reps will only reinforce the belief that our coaches are genuine, and that Miami is the place for them.
