Name a great Miami team who didn't have great defense. Morris was at fault a lot. But going into the half at 21-14 ......big part to do with Morris. We have no defense and to defend Dno they attack Shannon then down to the players he recruit. Its pretty much year 4 of Golden and they are still bringing uo Shannon....when is a coach expect to make decisions and accept blame for them? We lost the game because our defense stinks!. You see Manzeil putting up video game numbers and losing? .....yes they have no defense and ours is not much better and since Morris is no Manzeil we get hammered worst. The lost was on our defense. 2 picks and 517 yards is not enough. Morris had 3 great drives in the first half. 2 TDs and one the kicker missed FG. Dno should be on the hotseat one year ago if not for his relationship with the HC. Simple. 5/6 games and you will have to find a new target to blame when our defense shats the bed. I guess you can always blame Randy.

Zone is starting to sound like a Tebow fan, dismissing stats and blaming everyone us for the QBs shortcomings. The kid is average in every measurable way. he's like a pitcher who throws 100 mph, but has no secondary pitches, no location, and can't read the hitters.

we scored 0 points on normal drives (drives that started off a kickoff). we put up 14 points thanks to the 2 INTS by the D. lol ur acting like u expect a D to shut down an offense that has been killing teams all year. u realize us and BC were their 2 closest halves they played all year. that D caused winston to have his worst half all season. were not ognna turn into a Bama D over night. they got rocked in the second half but so did the offense.

We could have went into half down 21 points if not more, because other than the 2 drives that came from turnovers. The offense didn't do ****.

Now moving onto the 2nd half. Our offense did nothing at all. 1 of 5 on 3rd downs, 0 for 2 on 4th, and 2 ints. The 1 conversion came when the final seconds were running off the clock.(So it doesn't really matter) The defense was on the field around 21 minutes during that half. 30 minutes are in a half. That is a **** of a lot of time to be spending on the field for any defense.

The bottom line is, the defense isn't great, but the offense is far worse........The entire unit.

Hes better than average and has a top level arm but he doesnt have that it factor IMO he is what he is. Hes a 3 star kid AG inherited and is developing and masking alot of flaWS

its the truth.... when u give up 11-15 on 3rd downs that equals the offense on the bench for 2/3 of the game. Sitting on the bench all game is all negative for an offense.

to zone, every win is because of morris outside of UNC apparently. D gets no credit for forcing turnovers this year and making plays when needed (UF game).

Here is the simple question. When did it become a requirement for a defense to be great, they have to have a great or good offense. VT has no offense, their QB can't hit Jesus. ...he throws picks, 4 against Duke. And they can't run the ball against anyone. But you know what they do.....they go out there and stop people. U know why? Because its their job. Texas a&m has a great offense and their defense stinks. It had nothing to do with anything. They get points and plenty of rest. They still get torched, because they suck ***, simple. Morris does not play defense or call plays. Golden keeps blaming the offense because he knows everyone is jumping on Dno *** and he keeps on protecting him like he is a child. His defense sucked since the first day he touched down here. We gave him 51 points against Duke last year....he still couldn't stop them. Golden found a excuse that we scored too quickly. Florida has no offense, neither do VT. How comes they stop teams? It can't be lack of talent AND Morris' fault. Pick one! Dno sucks and he can't scheme against anybody competenct. He is a MAC level coach who needs to coach Miami......of OHIO!

It takes a team to lose, but Morris has to become more of a leader with duke out and learn how to scramble besides being one dimensional. If he is hurt that bad then he needs to sit so the ankle excuses will stop. It was a couple of times he could of scrambled for the first but chose to throw an inaccurate pass.
