Started watching VTech games...

Logan threw for 4 bills against BC.

Not sure if we want to emulate their gameplan too much.

4 bills, 2 picks.. one which i think went back for 6.. It's certainly a risk reward situation, and we probably will not change our defense at all.. but at some point we have to see how other teams have success against offenses and try to do that.

Cuse blanked wake.. and they didn't do it by sitting back and dropping into coverage. I'd like to think we can adapt our scheme somewhat and do things that other teams are having success with against the same opponents. If BC can hold them to 10 points, then we should have been able to have similar success. I'm not on the fir D'Onof wagon either, but if our players aren't at a place where they can run the scheme as it needs to be, we have to find a way to manufacture pressure in order to have success.

Campanaro got hurt in the first quarter. He was 80% of their passing offense. Their second leading WR got hurt against us and didn't play against SU. That's why SU blanked Wake. We would have blanked Wake too if neither of those guys would have played.

Lol. Campanero better be a future NFL pro bowler. He's worth 21 points apparently. More if you factor that Miami has better talent than Syracuse....

VT's defense isnt on the level of FSU's..... it's not hard to get 4 TO's off of Duke lol even though it's hard to lose to Duke even though you caused 4 Turnovers :ibisroflmao:

I'm more worried about our turble FG kicker in this one than QB.
I like golden but that to me is as much a glaring recruiting fck up as anything else
Isn't there a kid in Broward kicking 60+ fgs? Why is he not committed?

Their kicker is just as bad, although, unfortunately, he hit a 57 yarder against BC that might have given him his confidence back at the wrong time for us. He hit all his kicks solidly after that long one when he had been missing everything before that long kick.

Goudis has a bad case of the yips. He looked like he was being marched to his death when they trotted him out there against fsu.

Would be nice if we could dictate the game and make the other team adjust to us for a change...

Turnovers decide this game. They put the fsu game on the back of the OL with the problem being that fsu is too good offensively and got away from us. We won't have that issue with vt. If the OL performs as they did against FSU then we can score enough to win. But VT's defensive staff will be preaching to their side all week about baiting the qb and the need for turnovers. This is where the game gets decided. It should be low scoring and mistakes lose it. Our punter might be our best friend against them.

Exactly. We can't be afraid to punt and make them go a long way to score. Their hope will be to stuff our run game on early downs forcing Morris into 2nd and 11 or 3rd and 8 and then bait him into picks by confusing him with different looks while getting pressure on him. We've shown a tendency to run on 1st down, so I'm sure they'll be attacking our run game downhill on early downs.

GT beat cuse 56 to nada.

A lot of dumb above.

Lol. Right, and how does that not support the premise that Syracuse somehow managed to perform far better defensively than Miami against Wake's offense despite far less talent?...

MICO JONES,

These scores in other games mean jack SHlT

Let's review

Cuse 13 - WF 0

GT 56 - Cuse 0

Miami 45 - GT 30

Miami 24 - WF 21

The thing that is true is we beat GT and WF. The other thing that is true is Cuse is 1-1 against teams we beat. This means NOTHING. We don't play Cuse, who gives a SHlT how they perform against someone we played.

What can we take away from all this?

When you are trying to make a point understand that if it sounds good in your head, you likely are not making a point.

For starters, how do you know Miami has better talent across the board than Syracuse on D ? We are one season removed from the worst D in school history.. yet we are so good that Highsmith still starts for us?! Interesting. As for Campanero, I'm not sure if he will be a probowler or not.. but he will play on Sundays. Them losing their 2 top WR is equivalent to Miami losing Duke, Dorsett & Morris (the good one). He is their entire offense... but please, continue to spew this Syracuse nonsense like it's relevant.

LOL at the massive fail above.

****sigliere the douche.

Lol at that abortion the ****chise now backtracking.....
