Staff may just go all in with Emory now…

You don’t need to be an expert, you just need to have played this game at atleast the college level and have good eyes. I’ve seen Judd throw and he sucks, no different than Emery. You were probably one of the fans on here clamoring for Emery to get a chance, when anyone with eyes, saw he was a group of five at Best.

He's much different than Emory lol

And I simply asked DMoney a question. I don't give a **** about your opinion.

None of the 3 QBs make sense for 25. For 26, they might be. We 100% need to get the best QB we can from the portal and I assume we are turning over every rock. Both in identifying kids and raising the money to pay them.

I don't disagree, there just really isn't much other there. At least at the moment.

one thing is for sure, my wife is due in March with our first baby (boy) and I will not in good conscience allow that baby to hear or witness an Emory Williams-led Miami team open next year against ND

I'll break every TV in the house if I need to, that's no way to step into this life

I must be losing my **** mind. The Emory bandwagon is shifting its fandom to Judd?!?

Some of you should see a Dr about your memory. Taking Judd was far more controversial than Emory, even to those of us who warned you that Emory sucked.

Anyone worried about losing Judd or thinking he's going to play at UM should be embarrassed.

That's just how it works. Cam gone. Who's left? We tried Emory a little and he hasn't shown much except supposedly in practice. Poff is gone so next man up is Judd to battle it out with incoming freshman Luke. On top of all that, we don't know if any of the three are going to be any good so we need another transfer.

Look at FSU after Travis. DJ was supposed to drop right in but was a massive miss. Glenn was the next big thing and he sucked. Then it was 5* Kromenhoek but they ran him out of town by getting the BC quitter.

At this point, Emory is like our Glenn. Luke comes here as the next big thing but without the stars that Kromenhoek had. It's an endless cycle until you hit one and have another lined up.

None of this is aimed at you.

There's too much recency bias. Before Emory took the field Saturday, Judd being in the discussion was unfathomable. And for good reason. He's terrible. Nothing has changed. Judd is still terrible.

I was foolish enough to believe that most everybody, especially members of the Emory fan club, would've realized that just being on the roster does not mean someone is good enough to play QB at UM.

Judd is NOT the next guy up. NO competition will include Judd. Judd is NOT going to be the guy.

Emory being terrible does not mean that Judd gets a shot. It just means that everyone has forgotten how bad Judd is.

And now I'm gonna spend the next 9 months arguing with the same people who supported Emory, over whether Judd the pud has a future at Miami.

Judd was a higher upside prospect than Emory. I’m not saying I’m worried about him leaving, but he has way more clay to mold than Emory does.
He should have never been recruited . Bailey is more of the type kid we should have recruited to develop . Not some slow *** kid white
Not sure who may enter the portal after the playoffs, but not sure there’s anyone we’ll throw millions at.

With emory it’s a different looking offense. More balanced. More running. But we have the oline and rbs to do it. We’ll win but win not relying on a superstar at qb to be the focus of the offense and be the star.
this aged well

I don't think he's the guy either, but considering we don't have any guy right now, I'm open to giving anyone on the roster a shot.

Emory is done.. hopefully he see the writing on the wall and transfers to Div 11
If I were Emory I would willingly leave. At least TRY to run the same O you run with Cam. Instead, it was run run run, until they knew good and **** well we had to pass. Idiotic coaching, which we have all come to expect here.

If this staff can't get a better looking O with the second string QB in there, one with some experience, and a couple full offseasons to improve, it's time to question the staff a heck of a lot harder than questioning Emory's abilities. What is this staff doing? Do they know how to evaluate or teach a QB? They play Emory like he's a walk on, not a second string scholarship QB. THAT is what drives me nuts. Your second string QB should never look like a walk on who is only playing because your 4 scholarship QBs were electrocuted by a giant Pop Tart toaster.

HS QB recruiting under Mario has been liquid *****

If that is the case fire Mario. He is the worst coach Miami has ever had when it comes to talent evaluation and game day coaching. His only benefit is recruiting and that does not matter anymore with NIL. We now have a Coker/Shannon/Diaz all wrapped up into one with each of their bad qualities. Shut the program down

This comment right here is exactly what’s wrong with our fan base. You see a guy played two games last year and throw ball after ball into the hands of the defensive line and overall play like ****, but for some reason fans, think he’s the best thing since sliced bread. Emery sucks and I’ve been saying it since the beginning! Now after the second half of the bowl game, some of you head in the sand guys are starting to see the light on that.
They've been rubbing off to Ken Dorsey poster for the past 20+ have some compassion man.

I
If judd or emery is the starting qb next year it’s going to be a disaster. I would say could spell the end of the Mario era but I don’t think this school will move on from him after one disastrous season.
I agree Mario is not getting fired the next 2 or 3 years no matter the results but he's been here 3 years and already has had 2 disastrous seaons going 5-7 and 7-6.

Xs and Os coaches are going to be in very high demand. Probably not at Miami, but at every other school that wants to win at a high level.

Or that the staff couldn't even script plays for him to run. You can script 1 or 2 drives for the most incompetent QBs.

None of this makes sense.
Emory is that bad and looks worse bc of cam
And Dawson is not as good as he looks without cam
Half the time cam was changing plays
We essentially had an nfl qb playing for us
that’s why Emory looks even worse
He looked decent when compared to tvd
Bc tvd was trash
