Morris, who is training for the draft at Pete Bommarito’s Performance Center in North Miami Beach, said Williams will surprise people next season. “You don’t need a rocket arm to be a great quarterback,” Morris said. But Williams has improved his arm strength in the past year, which has coaches encouraged.

### On Monday, we mentioned you will be hearing a lot this year about five-star Coconut Creek Monarch prospect Calvin Ridley, rated the second-best receiver in the 2015 class. Ridley told canesport.com today that even though he was once leaning toward UM, that is no longer the case, without giving a specific reason. But UM remains one of many schools under consideration.

How is that an open competition if Morris is conceding that Williams will be the starter? Ridiculousness at it's best....blind loyalty to a senior is a hot dumpster mess.

and as far as never being a recruiting coordinator at the U, I'm fine with that....but remember you were warned about recruits that say this is my dream school and then won't even give the school the time of day. This Ridley fellow has been exposed, time to cut the ties and move on to the next recruit(s).

So you want the staff to quit recruiting possibly the best WR in the state because he didn't commit a year out from his signing day?

I want the staff to use their collective common senses and realize the grandstanding of a 17 year old kid....look at this staffs ability to NOT get those types of kids. I personally have no expectation of the U getting this kid, the kids OWN words proves to me as much. TV was using the same language, WAKE UP PEOPLE.

He needs to shut his mouth on things he has no idea about...my bad apparently he does have plenty of inside information. It's very inappropriate for a former player to make these suggestions. I guess this process doesn't apply to competition.
