Jesus ******* Christ
Nah brother, I’m right there. Our O was lethal.

7, 8 wins isn't too different. We were a 7 win team the year before and apart from Ward, added Sam Brown, Alderman, Dyoni Hill, Barrow, Baron, Martinez. That's a decent transfer haul in that 4 of those guys were contributors but enough to change the roster from a 7 win team to anything beyond an 8 win team? I don't know.First you said 7. Now it’s 7-8.
Cam was magical and yeah, great players help you win games. Kinda how it works. But Boston College and Pitt both won 7 games last year. If you put Cam Ward on those teams, do you think they’re 10-2 with both losses coming by a combined less than a TD and have a somewhat valid argument to belonging in the CFP? I do not.
Cam was sensational. There were plenty of other kids who were also very, very good who helped him lead the team to a 10-2 season.
We *could* have lost to a few teams. We didn’t. And Cam had a lot to do with that. He also had a lot to do with being in those situations in the first place. Didn’t he fumble on the first drive against VT? Didn’t he throw a god awful pick for a score against Cal? Do we beat VT without Malik Bryant sniffing out a fake FG? My point isn’t to **** on Cam, he was obviously incredible and we’re not nearly as good of a team without him. I could list superlatives for a half hour. But it’s not like the entire roster was a pile of **** and propped up only by Cam Ward. We’re going to have multiple NFL picks this year and likely more next year. Just give the 2024 team a good secondary and we’re probably in the final four. That’s not all because of Cam.
I really think that Luke will start to seperate himself when the pads come on. Emory and Judd have both been through a lot of practices so far in their career and know the warmup drills like the back of their heads, so they've figured out the system for "winning" a drill against the same people every day. This inherently makes the "look better" in front of coaches/media. There is a very good chance Emory portals this spring, so we'd need a portal qb anywaysI'd love to have Kosi and Jarren backing up Carson Beck over what we currently have backing him up. Both those guys over Emory, Judd, and a freshman Luke

But, anyways, we're geting a little far from my original post which was, is this roster more well-rounded than last years which I think it is.
What? Ward, Martinez, Arroyo, Brown, George, X, Horton, Rivers, Bell, Cooper and Mauigoa are all making the NFL. Carptenter is the only iffy one, but could definitely make at least the practice squad. Mccoys size a long will likely get him drafted. As far as a playoff run, lets say we hypothetically were the 11th seed in replace of SMU. With even an average defense, I think we beat Penn State and then Boise. Would have been so funny to see Boise stop our offense lol. Indiana, ND and Georgia on that side of the bracket are all beatable. So no, it's really not that crazyJesus ******* Christ

Carpenter, no. I would bet on the other guys at least making a roster at one point. Good conversation to have after some of the crap drafts we’ve had lately. You sold Zach Carpenter, Matt McCoy and Jacolby George are locks to make a 53?

The only reason Rodriquez got the nod was because McCoy was hurt lolWe can agree to disagree. McCoy didn’t even beat out Ryan Rodriguez to get the nod at LG last year. He played last year due to injury and was our weak link along the line while Rivers was out. Stamping him as an NFL guy right now based on play is just wishful thinking.
Luke has all the mental intangibles that you want. He just needs to get there with learning the playbook and adjusting to the speed of the game, etc., and I have all the confidence that he will separate himself. I’ve been watching him for years up here and I’d bet my house and retirement on the kid (barring injury). Give him the rest of the spring and summer, let him get a little bit of garbage time, and he’ll probably already be ahead of them.I really think that Luke will start to seperate himself when the pads come on. McCoy would have started at LG (and competed at RT) but was banged up in camp.We can agree to disagree. McCoy didn’t even beat out Ryan Rodriguez to get the nod at LG last year. He doesn't perform well in games. Our OL was noticeably better when Rivers moved inside to LG.McCoy would have started at LG (and competed at RT) but was banged up in camp.
I’ve seen him in person and he is much bigger than you’d expect. Very good traits and the OL staff really likes him. Looking ahead, I hope he stays for ‘26 and takes over at one of the tackle spots.
Lofton more like TebowThanks for the write up D$. Does Nickel look more like Cam or Tebow?
God **** you should be a scout bro! You can "fill in the gaps" without watching a single practice!?! Honestly, that's pretty amazingI didn't say you were lying. I wouldn't be here everyday if I didn't think you provided insight. I also have the ability to see where their are omissions. I have played and seen enough football to draw my own conclusions from what is posted.

Because the board hath decided every LB on the roster sucks and so it shall be.I for one have never been super high on our LB room… but how did we get to a state of emergency and we haven’t had one padded practice yet? lol. How are we judging our Linebacker’s of all positions without seeing them in pads first???
That just isn't true. He performed well, maybe not elite level yet, but he was a first year starter as a RS sophmore. Yes Rivers was better than McCoy, but you are talking about a veteran ALL ACC OL that earned All ACC in his career at T and G. So while Rivers was better than McCoy it wasn't because McCoy was bad, it was more because they really liked where Markel Bell was, and didn't want to waste his RS on a few starts when Rivers came back from injury. He doesn't perform well in games. Our OL was noticeably better when Rivers moved inside to LG.
