Spring Depth chart

Hope McCord to LB isn't permanent. There's been plenty of 240 De's to wreak havoc recently. It could just be numbers related with Armbrister, Terry and Johnson out for spring as of now.

A lot of the guys you are probably thinking about were rush linebackers. The Jarvis Jones'. The Von Miller's. The Clay Matthews' of the world. They would drop into coverage every now and again, but their primary job was to disrupt the offense with their hand off the ground.

LOL @ Bush as a 2.

That D Line scares the **** out of me.

Dont get that putting Bush at 2, the kid seems to have earned it on and off the field. You can motivate by rewarding him too.... Does D'onofrio determine the D depth chart or is it a joint effort with Golden and position coaches?

I was thinking of Jermaine Cunningham and Barkevious Mingo. On second look Cunningham is listed as 250. Could have sworn he was playing at 240 there at one point. Plenty was a bad word to use.

Dude, you retards know how much the two deep changes form start of spring to game 1? This is based off of utough and off season training. The only things that matter here are the position changes as they might stick going into the fall.

Exactly.

Not this past season, but the season before I think both Mingo and Sam Montgomery were no more than 240.

McCord at LB....I don't know about that.

Thought the same thing at first, but would love to see him rushing off the edge. Happy to see Figuero must have worked his *** off during Utough.

Pretty sure all the coaches get together and determine the chart. Would think Golden would have final answer on anything too close to call.

If Porter doesn't burst into flames like a turned over car in a movie by the UF game, I don't hate him and Pierre as a combo. But behind them is nothing.

End is atrocious. We might have to tell the secondary good luck and send backers A LOT or we're going to go back to every QB lighting us up for 400 yards a game.

Bond will be here in the summer and EJ, Terry will be back and push McCord back to DE in the summer we will be fine..

Will Alex make you forget about Matthew Thomas? I know Sunny made me forget about Booker T 2012 OL recruit, I seriously forgot his name.

Along with AQM and Hoilett, gotta think it is gonna look drastically better in the fall.

Takeaways from the spring depth chart.

D[]_[]KE still grinding like an animal in the gym and could be touching 2 bills by Fall. Dillard trim at 210 could make a move up the chart in the spring.

Awesome that Kirby has earned the MLB spot and the DZP MLB experiment is over for now. Wish EJ was playin SAM but, I love the McCord move. Also might expect Bond or McCord to be able to fill EJ's shoes if it comes to it. Guess we can't sleep on Figueroa either since he is puttin in the work.

Beyond that not much goin on. Like everyone has said the chart reflects workout performance not on field performance. Any questionable starting nods will be changed or validated by on field performance over the next couple months. Lookin forward to seein who steps up and earns a spot going into the summer.

One thing to pay attention to. Last spring we heard how great our backs were, truth was our run defense was as bad as our backs were good. So I hope the backs don't have as good a spring because that'll mean we might actually be able to stop someone this season.

We need someone to rush th passer, QBs had all day last year. If McCord can do it from SLB fine by me, someone has to because Chick and Green don't really rush the passer

1. EJ, please get your **** together
2. Is fentress seriously our back up safety?
