The staffs being hired at UF and UM are about to make FSU staff look silly.

Kamari Rodgers and his dad were on a youtube show tonight and basically stated that T-Rob is staying on staff(which i'm a huge fan of) and that they hope DVD is able to stay on staff.

I just don't if there's room for DVD on staff.

If we're going to keep somebody green, I'd probably go with Aristide and let him learn LB from Schumann (fingers crossed).

We should try to get DVD a DB coach gig all to himself and let him grow.

Mario is a great recruiter I agree. Honestly brady and Schumann are exactly what we need with such a good staff of recruiters around them to work
With Mario as HC and all your position coaches being ace recruiters it becomes absolutely imperative that both coordinators be great X's and O's coaches. That would make for a very well balanced and excellent staff.

Gotcha and I agree.

Mario wants to have physicality , not finesse. Which I get.

Most air raid teams are soft and for a reason. It’s all throw the ball around at practice and not much physicality or man on man football. You’re how you practice and if you lack physicality in practice you won’t play that way in games.

At some point you have to whip the man in front of you. That’s why I wanted Mario , I know the trenches will be playing big boy ball in a couple years.

That doesn’t mean you can’t have a multiple offense or a spread , I just want a mentality. Air raids don’t bring that.
That's fine and I'm certainly not arguing with you. My concern is what offense are we going to put TVD in? Also what type of OC is Brady considered to be? I'm ok with not hiring an OC who's resume is 100% air raid but I think it's imperative that we keep the spread and air raid concepts that Lashlee brought here in some form or fashion as part of a more eclectic and ahem "multiple" offense.

Lastly, please please please for the love of God tell me that the above isn't some type of euphemism for it being likely that Mario turns us back into "Pro Style Bro".

Kendal Briles did well this season with Arkansas. Arkansas and Miami have in common an OL specialist for HC, too, something to think about there.
There are some similarities between Briles and Lashlee.

His offense against our week 3 opponent next year:

His offense against a defense that a DC candidate(?) was apart of

If he’s after Brady, Dorsey and Briles that tells me he’s not trying to be some antiquated style of offense. That’s a positive.

That's a great list! I'm assuming that it's between Brady and Briles for OC and that he is after Dorsey for QB coach. Unless Mario is thinking about rolling the dice with Dorsey as a 1st time OC.

All as oc. Dorsey will likely wait to see if he’s getting an nfl oc job.
I think Dorsey will make us wait too long. Potential NFL HC jobs wont be open till late December, which is where interviews will start. Since Daboll will likely participate in these interviews and might accept a job, its safe to say that Dorsey will wait and see if he has a shot in Buffalo.

However, that wont happen till like mid-January. So its either Brady or Briles.

We’ll have to wait on a couple people mimiimim if we want them bad enough.

I know negotiations with Brady have slowed down some.

I don't think there's a huge rush to get the coordinators in. Getting the position coaches in to help recruiting is, but the coordinators have to be right.
