Place is legendary, more pit style than slow n low, true Texas BBQ experience IMO.

We used to go there before seeing Panic at the old Backyard venue outside of Austin. Great, great venue.

Went there before the LSU debacle too. Good ****! Ended up with the meat sweats.

That said, the best brisket I've ever had was at a little spot in downtown Lauderdale that coincidentally enough was called Texas Hold Em. They got too popular and expanded into like 2 others spots too fast and then completely disappeared. Had the best banana pudding too.
