Sideline fight between the players

BS... Dawson just lucked out on Cam... best QB in a generation... otherwise it's what we saw in the second half... 5 losses if we were lucky
Scary how much talent we are losing on O this year. We are not stacking talent. If Mario gets talent on D, you can rest assured the O will be in a pitiful state.

Mario was known as a recruiter, but NIL has changed everything. Now, you need to pay the players, and have a coach put them in position to make plays and win games. Mario just is not that coach. We don't need a team builder head coach, because half the team you build will leave. We need a head coach that can coach his way out of a wet paper bag.

As for 5 losses without Cam... I'm having a hard time finding more than 2-3 wins on this easy schedule without Cam. The way we play with Emory, we probably lose to Florida. USF would have been a cripple fight to the end. FAMU we would have run all over. Ball State is a W, but only if they let Emory play the way he did when he came in that week, NOT the same BS nonsense we've seen every other time he's been on the field. FSU would have been another fight between two bottom dwellers.

I have very low hopes for our team moving forward. Easiest schedule we've ever had, in my memory at least, and we lost 3 games. Could have been 2-3 more, and that's with Cam. Imagining this staff going into a season with Emory, and the O they want him to run, it's disgusting. Mario is stealing money.

I used to love pop tarts until I read the side of the box one day and saw that each pack was 400 CALORIES With a ton of fat and sodium….

That was all she wrote for PoP Tarts….by the way Strawberry was my favorite.
Did you believe that pop tarts were healthy?

Btw… s’mores were the goat when I was a stoned college kid.

Actually just saw it. It was Lightfoot and Barrow.
I wonder if lightfoot leaves

thats what I told a gator fan , Mullen if they had him still under nil would have a lot better Team . Mario and Billy days are numbered for the same reason you mentioned. The only they had advantage with is now a scratch with nil . Butch Davis would have killed it in this era too . The ability for a coach to evaluate talent in the portal is going to take the place of ace recruiters

That would totally be a Mario thing to do...either way it was dumb. Didn't learn his lesson the previous game against Cuse doing that. Also should have ran it every down when they got into the redzone at that point
These things are all true ...

- Definitely should have run it 3x.
- Kirk had ball go off his hands.
- Emory threw that pass late, high, and too hard.
- The FG was the right move considering they were run blitzing and on 4th Emory would have had identify/throw to the hot route again (good luck)
- The D stopped them after that FG and then Emory had batted down pass, 5 yd Lyle run, **** pass by Emory, punt

Seriously? How often do you see defensive linemen come in and make an impact as a true freshman? Bain was an exception, not the rule. Scott this year was a 5 star and got some playing time. Lightfoot is 6'5" and 230 lb and was 18 when he came in. You think maybe you can give him a chance to grow and develop a little bit before calling him a bust?

I know we as Cane fans live in a delusional world where we compete for the national championship every year, but come on. When Mario was hired we knew it was a complete rebuild project. Year three we won ten games. They have done a great job fixing the offensive and defensive lines and the running backs, wide receivers and tight ends. This year the emphasis is on the defensive backfield. Relax and enjoy the ride.
Lightfoot ain’t 6’5 or 230. He is about 6’3 215-220. When he weighed in at the army game him and Pickett was around the same height and weight

Instead we lost by one, with a QB that's suppose to be the future. That future was 5-14 for 25 yards....none of the completions were forward thrown passes.
...and here we are.
TBH, I never saw him as our future QB.

I hear you and before I left high school to go to college to play baseball I weighed 145 lbs and ate everything in site trying to put on weight .They didn’t have all the stuff they have nowadays to help gain weight. Then when I got to college and hurt my knee and sat around for 2 years as they they operated on it every 6 months I finally put on weight cause I wasn’t in motion all day long.

Now here I am 50 years later wishing I could find something to take the weight off but now with 2 bad knees and a bad back it’s hard to workout real hard.

Moral of the story is stay active and don’t get old….😜

I don't think Fletcher played a snap after his last carry to get the 1st & Goal at the 7. @Tony4Canes mentioned he was dinged up. If Martinez & Fletcher weren't available the playcalling and FG decision make sense. I personally would have just put Lofton at RB and run it 3 times if necessary from the 3, but I don't know when the last time was that he got practice snaps at RB.

Can you READ? I said he was on the fast track to being a bust like Wayne and Moss. I didn't say he is a bust yet.
Bro is in here fighting for his life on his snowflake take on this matter

I just wanna ask someone so I'll choose you...How does that kid sit behond Cam Ward and not pick up on the things he does in preparation?? How does he come in and look that horrible and unprepared?
