Can you READ? I said he was on the fast track to being a bust like Wayne and Moss. I didn't say he is a bust yet.
Oh good, let us know when he gets cleared from being a bust.

Seriously? How often do you see defensive linemen come in and make an impact as a true freshman? Bain was an exception, not the rule. Scott this year was a 5 star and got some playing time. Lightfoot is 6'5" and 230 lb and was 18 when he came in. You think maybe you can give him a chance to grow and develop a little bit before calling him a bust?
I know we as Cane fans live in a delusional world where we compete for the national championship every year, but come on. When Mario was hired we knew it was a complete rebuild project. Year three we won ten games. They have done a great job fixing the offensive and defensive lines and the running backs, wide receivers and tight ends. This year the emphasis is on the defensive backfield. Relax and enjoy the ride.
The answer is easy - SmoresThe answer is easy - none.
Yes this! I knew someone would be up on game!!

Has anyone actually confirmed this? Seen you say it a few times but who else has said anything close to that? Why not leave before the bowl?Lightfoot is gone anyways, doesn’t matter.
Stop recruiting malnourished edge rushers that can’t put on weight.
There’s been a few posters alluding to high profile 2024 kids leaving; it’s not a Miami thing - it’s just how the sport is now. His family is not happy he couldn’t get any burn on a DL that couldn’t get consistent pressure, but the truth is he doesn’t deserve the snaps rn. Cole McConathy is ahead of him on the depth chart. Blount got burn at edge yesterday too.Has anyone actually confirmed this? Seen you say it a few times but who else has said anything close to that? Why not leave before the bowl?
Any idea who the other big name is?There’s been a few posters alluding to high profile 2024 kids leaving; it’s not a Miami thing - it’s just how the sport is now. I’m assuming they mean him without mentioning him. But from what I’ve heard, he’s one of two big names…although I don’t consider Lightfoot a massive loss since he hasn’t done anything.
If he ends up staying, I’ll be the first to say my bad, either stuff changed or bad info. And I will continue to root for him just like I root for all kids that wear orange and green. But personally, the writing is on the wall with him.

Same state. Homesick. We’ll fight way harder to keep this one though - not as confident he’s leaving as I was two weeks ago, but the allure to return closer to home is still strong.Any idea who the other big name is?
Yes, Al Golden with both Lightfoot and Scott.Someone will be having a conversation with Lightfoot, sure of that.
