Maybe the coaches want to play the NFL type SDEs over a thin WDE. The WDE kids (Pickett and lightfoot) aren’t happy to see no one get to the QB when they know they could.

I don't know how you judge any of these young defensive lineman with the Guidry defense as your metric. Even the senior guys were asked to play out of position or do things that weren't in their bag of skills. It was a disaster.

I'd like to see what they can do with a good DC and a solid, effective defensive scheme.

Why is everyone assuming they are gone? I'd prefer some of these high level recruits actually stick around and see if we can make something of them. How can u write off anyone after 1 season when in Lightfoots case he never played
