you call it lucky but it was their job to recruit/get Cam to come here and they got it done, all these what ifs yall love playing is irrelevant. Dawson did an awesome job this season w the offense & thats not an opinion either. If Cam was so much of a one man show he would've had a #1 pick draft grade @ Wazzu

Honestly, I was shocked he was that bad. Always wanted for us to hit the portal because I knew Williams had bust potential. But I never thought he would play that poorly in a thousand years. That was Kirby Freeman with no legs awful.

Which sucks because we realistically probably should be adding another QB2 from the portal and try to do better than Reese this time. I know many on here will want Nickle to be that backup. And if he wins the QB1 or QB2 role, great. But we need three QBs we can field in case one gets seriously injured. And I wouldn't count on either Emory or Judd to be able to function if called upon.

I don’t know why the DLs were fighting during the game , but there are some problems with the coaching and development on the DL. When you look at overall sacks, pressures and production, the defensive linemen who transferred out (JHH, Jafahri Harvey, Elijah Roberts, Nyjalik Kelly, etc) arguably outplayed those who transferred in (Barrow, Barron, etc). IMHO, these things cause players to be unhappy. I am watching CFP teams (like Penn State, Notre Dame, Michigan, UGA Tex, etc) with similar recruit rankings develop starters and backups much better than our coaches

The Canes DL coaches have recruited 4 star players, but we can’t fool ourselves that we have some coaching and development issues with the players on our roster. Based on what Mario has been saying throughout the season, I think he believes that player development should be a priority in his program and will be looking for a DC and maybe a DL coach who prioritizes player development as well as recruiting

best thing that could ever happen to us was seeing both QBs against the same defense. cam toyed with them.
