Earlier in the year or this past week? Im guessing this was the reason folks thought EJ would be booted? Hence the, he got it, since he played well for us at BC.??

LOL yep. Called his bluff.

Eddie knows Miami was his only D1 offer.

Kid is a stud tho. Would've hurt to lose him but no one player is above the team
 
E Johnson balled out last week. Can't fault kids for wanting PT and standing up for themselves, but missing practice to 'prove a point' is reckless and bad for the team. Letting the team down like that is just about unforgivable.
 
Luther's dad need a big case of STFU, and if Luther didn't like it he needs a double dose of it as well. Luther how about you earn the playing time at practice and show the coaches. if you feel you should have gotten more PT then you should have earned it all spring and fall. this isn't a Shannon run team anymore. grow up this isn't pop warner football anymore. keep your dad out of it.

parents are getting worse every year. let the kids play and do what they have to do. always in the ear of their kids instead of letting the kid develop and learn from the coach. parents can be just a big of a poison to a player then other teammates. the days of working hard and earning something are slowly fading away. it becomes harder and harder every year when these kids all think they should play over everyone else. transfers are running wild. if you didn't want to earn it you should have never come here.

Sad. Had a great off-season, and was probably the best D-Linemen againsy BC. I'll never bash a parent for backing their kid, but Luther should have shut Dad down. I don't know if the situation with the coaches got disrespectful, and I could see Luth sticking up for his parent if he felt he was being disrespected, but other then that, bad move for the kid to skip a practice.
 
Rather the Entitlement Era is dying and fading away. You hear very few references these days to kids not buying in and not doing what they are suppose to do to prepare for the season. No more griping about conditioning and things of that nature. There will always be a few in the bunch and those few will get dealt with accordiningly and thus miss a huge game for a incredibily stupid ME off the field. Live and Learn the Goldenization of DA U!

Eddie was upset that he was doing work and armbrister is straight trash and they still put him in front of him on last depth chart. Eddie went off about favoritism and stuff of that nature and coaches werent having it so they did what they had to do.

Armbrister starts game 1, proceeds to suck, game 2 Eddie starting, lets see how he does with opportunity

It really is a **** shame of how much sense of entitlement was rampant within this program... Good God.

Al don't play... you don't like it.. kick rocks.. He's got nothing to lose at this juncture. He's changing the whole **** culture in this joint. Brick by brick.

If true, I hope he gets kicked off the team. The program must be purged of cancer like this.

Idk why anyone cares. Sure the guy adds depth but I REALLY don't think we're going to be missing anything having this kid not travel. Clearly he was a cancer. I'd like to see what Ivery and Earl Moore can bring to the table.
 
I don't mind getting upset for wanting to play more or having a player feel like they deserve more snaps. It is ok to become upset at the coaches at times but don't miss practice:ohlord:
 
You and your parents aren't larger than the team. Al is paid MILLIONS to make these decisions along with the rest of his staff. Maybe when he isn't playing anymore and is flipping burgers he and his dad will have an epiphany.
