That logic only works if you think we’re going to complete the same exact amount of passes with Ward as we did with TVD and Emory last year. There’s going to be a lot more completions this season.

Man, I'm so uneasy about the OC. I am more concerned about him than anything else. Somebody...anybody help calm me down.

I've always had my doubts.

Mario was quick to hire Guidry and he seems to be the real deal at DC.

Meanwhile, with the OC hire, it took months, and all we were hearing was Mario getting turned down by his top choices. Most particularly Jason Candle.
Dawson seemed like a fallback option.

Maybe I am wrong though. He has a lot to prove this year. Last year is tough to judge. The A&M game he looked great. Other games not so much. But that could be based on having TVD and a true FR QB.

We will see what happens this year.

While I almost totally agree with you, I cannot diss on Mario, that's my coach. But, I'm not inspired with Dawson. He is so hard to get behind (pause) and support fully (big pause).

I’d take Dawson 10/10 over Candle.

Probably a good hire if I’m looking for a MAC head coach. Not what I’m looking for in an offensive coordinator. I know why Mario has a weird man-crush for him and it’s the exact reason why i wouldn’t want his offense. Thankfully (or hopefully) we’ve moved on from him.
