Scrimmage take...

Starting Rosier with a short leash can potentially be a catastrophic move. Anyone seeing that as a good option or strategy is being very short sighted.

Like this right here is why this thread should be closed loose cannon is a ******* troll at this point he's just down voting because it gets his jimmies rustled
I down voted your post because I disagree with it. I'm pretty sure that's what the button was for. Quit whining. I don't care about @calinative umstudent chart, and I'm not going to bother trying to debate it. Rosier has not been accurate. I don't think anybody is saying that he is. But you two are advocating replacing Rosier with a freshmans, whether the freshmans actually earns the job is irrelevant. Your opinion is that Rosier's maxxed out and the freshmans should just get the nod based solely on your opinion of potential. Your position is that Rosier is bad, and yeah, the guys behind him might be worse, but they can get better and Rosier cannot.

I cannot stress enough how stupid this opinion is. And I will down vote it every time I see it.

Potentially yes it can. However, this is someone that was admittingly complacent at times last season, hence the reason for needing a short leash.

What if the guy you pull him for stinks it up? Right now therer is zero indication either of the freshmen are ready to take over. Once you bench an incumbent starter who's a 5th year Senior, it's hard to go back if the guy who replaced him fails.

The entire season could end up becoming some kind of disastrous platoon situation that can destroy team unity any kill the potential for offensive growth.

I'd avoid that scenario at all costs if I were CMR. I really doubt we end up going down that road.

Well put

Not to mention 2 of the best recruiting classes in the nation could be effected. Richt will start who gives us the best chance to win, he gives 2 ***** about fools on here crying for guys who never played a college snap to get some burn because they don't like Malik.

Last season I knew Perry wasn't ready and the only other guy we had was Sherieffs. This time, we have Perry, Weldon and Williams (who seems to be further along than Perry was at their respective junctures). But benching Qbs happens all of the time. If a 5th year senior gives reason to be benched with poor play - you don't continue to leave him out there.

But we're not arguing last year, we're arguing this upcoming season. One of these 3 QBs is going to be the future and someone we think can realistically get us into the playoffs. We don't have that same faith in Rosier.

And you think kids, particularly skill players are seeing QB play from Rosier is going to impact their decision? Winning helps in recruiting, but it's not the end all be all.

Has ZERO effect, no 2019-20-21 recruits will EVER play with Malik

One thing matters, WINNING

Right now our 2019 class is #2
2020 is #1

Winning helps. But winning isn't the only thing in recruiting. Recruits are different where location matters, program state matters (winning), ability to go to the pros matters, etc.. Relationships are key there as well.

Again, Malik played last year, the 19-20 recruits watched

19 class is #2
20 class is #1

are you paying any attention at all?

You think that Malik's the reason for our recruiting rankings? Are you serious?

We had the #1 recruiting class in 18 as well. We had an elite class, but we didn't even finish in the top 5. Golden at one point (a year out) had the #1 class in 2016. Are you paying attention?

Kids aren't beating down the door because of Rosier or QB play in general - they're coming because of Richt and the turnaround in the program over the last couple of years.

God **** that was the dumbest post I've ever seen on here.

anyone gloating about a false ranking of the #2 class in 2019 needs to be checked mentally. I like the potential of the class as we sit in good position with a lot of targets but as of now with the kids we have committed currently this aint it period......Need more blue chip players

Now the 2020 class? that class is elite and ive said that class would be better than 2019 before a few months back

Agree, it's high because of #s right now. There will be some blue-chips added if we have a good season IMO

YOU said recruits will react negatively because Malik is our QB

Our 19 class is 2, 20 class is 1

you aren't very smart

Bruh, where did I say recruits would act negatively if Malik was our QB? You're making **** up now.

I said we've reached our ceiling with Malik as a QB as far as how far we can go as a program. One of the other 3 QBs on our roster will be the long-term starter more likely and I'd like to see how far they can get.

Really. So how did we beat out Alabama for Ahmmon? How did we beat out Alabama for Chad Thomas? For Deon Bush? For Gurvan Hall? How did we beat our UGA who was in the natty for Gilbert Frierson? We've beaten out a current-running dynasty for some recruits and vice versa. If winning was the only thing that matters, Richt wouldn't have one single win against Saban.

@Dwinstitles explain to this boy how recruiting works.
