Scrimmage take...

You're functionally retarded and deserve no further consideration regarding this matter, so this is the last I will say regarding your highlighted "points."

1. Was that already a low bar for a record
Many a man has been under center since Kosar's 1984 season and Walsh's 1988 season, and nobody has been able to accomplish what the man you say never deserves another snap was able to accomplish. To write off Malik's 31 TD's as garbage numbers from a garbage QB that doesn't deserve to even be considered this season is to say that every other QB who's season record he buried is garbage as well. The game ain't change so much that contributing 31 touchdowns has become an insignificant, non-factor when determining the outcome of games and seasons. We won 10 games instead of 6 or 7 because of Malik's contributions, but we also won 10 instead of 12 because of Malik's contributions.

2. he was bad all the ******* time. I'm **** well saying yes all he did was complete a miracle pass against Fsu.
You don't account for 3600 yards and 31 TD's by being bad all the time. And against FSU our defense gave up 17 points in the 4th quarter. Our defense gave up a lead 3 times. Malik led the offense back down each time. Nobody else was QB the other 2 times we took the lead.

3.The evidence to corroborate how bad he is has been posted like 12 times in this thread from him pass cmp %
Malik Rosier threw for 54%, had 31 TD's and ovwer 3600 yards from scrimmage. In 2001, with the greatest college football team assembled, Ken Dorsey threw for 56%, 23 Td's and 2600 yards. And we almost lost to VaTech and Boston College. Your evidence is ****.
**** calm down you autist and step outside

Rosier is an average / below average passer , hence he’s not a good starting qb.

There’s no debate to that.
I agree he is average with above average athleticism. BUT to play Devils advocate guys like Matt Mauk, Craig Krenzel, Greg McElroy, Cardale jones, jake Coker and Tee Martin have won BCS Titles.

It can be done (not that I think we do with Rosier)

**** off and go chase some pokemans. See? I can condescendingly dismiss your comment without contributing anything of value as well. It's lazy and makes me feel all greasy like a Burger King reject, but I can do it.
@calinative umstudent at this point we are beating a dead horse I feel like I'm arguing with a liberal when you present them facts they'll just screech .. So far the 9th time can you just post your case study for someone who obviously hasn't pained through all the games of last season and just goes "welp we are 10-3 we must be doing something right then"

I’d take those guys every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Rosier couldn’t win a natty no matter how talented the team.

We’ll be a three loss team with him, and that’s getting a lot of breaks.

Turnovers kept us from losing another three games.

You can’t depend on turnovers , teams that have turnover years like we had normally comeback to earth the next year. The saints sb year is the perfect example.

Those turnovers kept Rosier and the offense from being more exposed than it already was.

LOL - you’re making you’re point to a card carrying committed liberal

This is funny

Man if you had two brain cells it'd be a family reunion.

Malik Rosier's 3605 yards is the most for a Hurricane QB since Bernie Kosar put up 3642 in 1984, and his 31 TDs was the most ever, 2 more than Walsh's 29 in 1988. Malik Rosier is not as terrible as some of y'all are trying to make out. Do his stats hide how bad he was at times? Yes. Should we demand better than streaky QB play? Yes. But to say we won 10 games IN SPITE of Malik's contributions is as insane as saying all he did against FSU was complete one miracle pass. We gave up a lead in the 4th quarter of that game three times, and all three times, Malik marched us right back down and took back the lead.
Problem with throwing out all these stats is not realizing that its not exactly accurate to the times. For instance when u mentioned bernie you failed to acknowledge his stats were compiled from an 11 game season & the stats from the bowl game werent included. In that same context malik had 24 tds & 2700 & change yards. Even with orange bowl & acccg he had 3120. Him and bernie in the same breath makes me sick to my core... also if you look at it in that perspective you gotta realize its total tds not passing tds he got the record for. If you dont account for the extra games than the record is steves for passing tds alone of 29. Willis had 28 tds in 02...

Holy ******* **** man, how is this even debatable. I 10000000000% would start a ******* Freshman, who I have no idea how they will perform, over the worst ******* Qb in the ACC last year. Come on, How is this complicated. STARTING ROSIER IS LITERALLY THROWING THE SEASON AWAY. so yeah I'd rather take the ******* gamble, at leas then we have a shot.
This is like choosing a steaming pile of **** sandwich or the mystery box which could also very well be a **** sandwich, OR end up being like a ******* PB&J or something. This is extremely simple. Idgaf if you consider it rolling the dice. When the known commodity is absolute ****, that option should get taken off the ******* table. If you're at the casino, would you play at the table where you already know the result is a loss, or would you play at the table where you have a ******* chance? If you are going out at night do you just bag the first 2 you see, or do you shoot your shot with the ******* 8? Man some of yall only see our record, and act like its a reflection on Rosier. I've posted his *** stats on here like 10 times, and still got people acting like he wasn't the worst Qb in the ACC (or at least bottom 3) in just about every stat.
I'm gunna ******* look at all QB stats in the FBS and see how he compares, We'll see if he even finishes top 65/128 (there are 65 P5 schools and 128 FBS schools).

Lmao. Thank God you aren't the one making decisions.

Rosier set a single season record for total tds, rushing yards and rushing tds for a UM QB, yet somehow he was the worst QB. He also posted the 4th most passing TDs and 9th most passing yards in a season by a UM QB.

Like I said, glad you aren't making the decisions.

Several of those guys had FAR worse seasons than Malik. Your hate is blinding you my man, some of those guys were down right bad/below average

Wow this is honestly just sad to read. This is the perspective of a defeated fan. I guess this tells me everything I need to know about you and why you're so stuck on Rosier.
No long term plan, just wanting the immediate results this minute, rather than 8 months down the line or even 1+yrs later.
Rosier is not the answer buddy.

Lmaooooo. You clearly have zero clue. Only someone wearing orange and green goggles thinks we can actually compete with Clemson.

Let me ask you genius, what happens if one of the young QB manages only 5 or 6 wins? What does that do to our future? How does that help? You think our 19 class stays in tact? Take 2 seconds to actually think before spewing your non-sense.

You can’t compare stats to most of those guys , it’s a far easier time to pass. From all the gimmick stuff, bubbles , rpo, spread concepts and defense playing behind the 8 ball. Most of these spread offenses only have two reads , it’s not the same.

Imagine Rosiers stats without all the simple throws , which Richt incorporated to nauseam since he’s so awful. He’s a 50% passer that has 8-10 layup throws a game yet still struggles.

Mark doesn’t even won’t yo throw drags and slants because dude is so inaccurate lol.

McElroy was a system guy but hit the easy throws like shooting fish in a barrel , the same throws Malik throws in the dirt.

It’s much harder to read a d and make throws in a pro style than a rpo/spread offense like we’ve been running. Yet he’s still a hot mess.

This guy wants Craig Krenzel. 54%, 2000 yards, 15 TDs/10 INTs.

Stop it man, stop, I don't really care for Malik, but your off here.

Loose bowel using “ the stats “ argument to nauseam.

Most of our qbs through history had a warm up jacket on in the second half’s of games. Same with all the other skill guys, hence why most of the school records aren’t as crazy as most schools. Also splitting time with other greats.

I also hear no talk of how his running ability helps the backs by holding DEs/LBers. That is probably his #1 asset.

I hope Jarren/Perry/anyone clearly TAKE the job, just don't see it

Stop it man, stop

I don’t give a **** about his stats , dude won close games for them all season. And didn’t make bone headed decisions.

You’re comparing two different offenses and eras , KK didn’t have 8-10 layups a game back then. Keep *********ing to stats from different eras.

By your stupid logic Rosier is our best qb ever lol, I mean his stats are better.

Same logic all the greatest qbs in history are the last 5-6 years and played at Texas Tech , Wash St, Baylor and Okie State.

LMAO, Malik must have banged your mom/sister/girl/et al. You got some serious hate. Not a good look kid.

My views have nothing to do with any political identity though. They are purely mine. I don't agree with **** just because Conservatives/Liberals typically support something. I make my own decisions.

I think it’s the opposite , I think Malik is tearing your *** up.

Even though most defenses play coverage daring us to throw deep. Dare the qb to complete pee wee football throws, but hey , his legs holds lbs lol.

I mean why wouldn’t you let his legs hold you ? You don’t have to worry about his arm.

Pitt kept letting wr run by their single high safety or no safety because they knew we had a hot mess at qb. It was literally the most disrespectful thing I’ve ever seen in 30+ years of watching football.
