Honestly it's bull****. It adds pressure to an 18 year old - you know his uncle / aunt is pressuring him to sign for Michigan St so their son can get a better offer than his talent deserves.

They do their rankings weird long as he doesn't fall out the top 30 on 247 he will be a 5 star at the end of the cycle.

well to be fair 247 does not give out all of its 5 stars until the very end, so like 247 has him ranked #16, #3OT (behind Proctor and Francis) and the top 15 players are all 5-star. So if his ranking stays the same he will be a 5-star on NSD. Him at #16 is actually bringing him up as composite has him at 18. I do not think Samson has dropped in a single update they have done, only risen. Espn and RIvals also has him at 16. On3 has him at 73.
247 did shoot up Rashada to #17 however

He he has always been a 4 on there. 247 has waited all year to give out their remaining 5s. He is currently ranked #16 on 247

On3 needs to be dropped from the composite. When you have a guy ranked so much lower than everyone else your ranking system is probably messed up. Same thing with Wayne and even Rashada at least in the past was ranked so much lower by On3 than everyone else.

Id imagine that given everything that has transpired between us and UF this cycle, they will do everything possible to get this kid. With all that being said, I dont think this would be a situation where UF sneaks one past us like we did with Cormani. Samson is going to the place that gives him the best NIL and brand opportunities. Whatever UF offers we have the opportunity to match as they do.
