Those three spots to me seem pretty locked in for 23
Nah. Earn it. Nobody is safe. Nobody on the offense gets a pass. That was the most **** poor product I've ever seen at Miami and as an offensive coach I'd make it known that nobody on offense is safe and if you want a spot you gotta work for it.
I'd portal 11 new players honestly.

I know we have posters who are very confident here but there are a lot of red flags here

1. He’s been on commit watch since June/July and hasn’t publicly pulled trigger

2. If true, reaching out to usc, a team I haven’t heard about in his recruitment, 4-5 weeks before early NSD.

Times are different, but in the past those have traditionally been a bad sign

The non-commitment doesn’t worry me one bit. We knew this kid was a NIL / Brand first kid since the jump, pretty clear he was gonna wait till signing day.

Except #1 isn’t true

He was very up front about if he didn’t commit in the summer then this was going to NSD.

From ON3 national writer this morning:

Samson Okunlola is expected to trim his list to five schools in the near future. Miami has been trending since the summer. Florida got him on campus earlier this month. Michigan State has not gone away, and I have been told they are a true contender. I continue to hear about interest in Alabama and Ohio State as well. Florida made a strong impression on Okunlola and the family on their multi-day visit to the Swamp. The buzz around the Hurricanes is still strong, but not as strong as it was a few months ago. This one could still go a couple of different ways. He has two official visits remaining as well, and I am hearing he’s expected to use at least one over the next few weeks.

Who’s our biggest threat here?

From a business perspective, it’s bad to commit early if you’re all about NIL and branding.

Hardcore fans and casual fans will be paying attention to recruiting on ESD. That’s when you want to make your brand announcement.
Especially if your dealing with Ruiz, cause it’s known that once you sign he won’t renegotiate

Who ever is the highest bidder. He is asking for a crazy deal that no one right now is willing to offer. Miami is supposedly the closest. If someone ponies up what he wants then he is theirs.
Ok cool, thanks for responding
