Russell Athletic Bowl: Miami vs 16 West Virginia

Stay at the hyatt regency on I drive (formally the peapody) if you got the coin. North Carolina stayed there last year when I was there.

Nobody should be surprised

as said before... un-ranked and haven't won a bowl

On paper they have the better Total offense ranking and we counter with the better Total defense ranking by about the same YPG difference between both teams.

For this game I like being the underdog... keeps me ****ed off.

Canes

When in doubt -take the better D.

I live in Central Florida and do a part time job in Orlando.. You don't have to stay near Camping Stadium. If I was you, I would stay anywhere on International Drive or Highway 50 and take Uber or Taxy to the stadium.

There is Marriott courtyard on Magnolia and residence inn on N. orange ave. Double tree all on north side of downtown (uptown).

What is with all the scared porsters in this thread? If we play like we should, then we beat WV handily.

Will be extremely happy when ESPN finally dies. Am tired of their $EC #### riding. Don't know if we have the horses yet to beat WVU, but I hope so. I hate that bunch with a passion. Bunch of inbred trash......and I'm tired of watching inbred trash winning everything all the time.

Completely meaningless. Hope no one gets hurt in an exhibition game
bowl games are meaningful even if not national title games, they matter for 2 reasons. 1 kids get to have some fun, this is college not the pros after all, 2 the extra bowl practices u get when u go to a bowl allows you to get the young kids more practice and experience for next year.

bowl games are about pride also. pride to represent your school and your conference, winning this would give Miami momentum going into next year.

I understand all of that. I really do,and believe I am not "trolling" or anything like that. The extra practice is good and everything. And travelling to a diff city for the kids can be fun. However. The NCAA, ESPN and the schools again are making money off these kids, in when it comes down to it an exhibition game. god forbid a great talent get seriously hurt and prevents making it big into the NFL. Lets just not make these games seem more important than they are. Cause they are not important.

I cant stand people that think like you. you're the SJW of college football. Same type of guy that doesn't want the playoff expanded cause it would cause the players to play another game or two "without getting paid." like any athlete wouldn't kill to have a chance at the national championship. GTFOH

ahahah. Oh man. I know it kind of sounds all SJW ish. Trust and believe me, that is not my point here. SJW are the bane of our society right now. I am allllllll for expandinf this thing to 8-16 - 32 teams, and have a real playoff. Even if that playoff starts in November. Too many games at the end of Nov didn't mean all that much. Bama v Aub? Bama could have lost and still got in. Even Bama v Fla. Didnt mean all that much for the playoff. Sure Fla would have gone to a "better bowl game" But Bama would still be in. PSU v Wisc? PSU didnt even get in the playoff with a win. They have to do a better job with this playoff. It's closer, yet so far away.

How about the Wingate by Wyndham Convention Ctr Closest Universal Orlando at 5661 Windhover Dr? I have reservations there but can change them easily if it's a **** hole.

I got a hotel near Universal for $150 a night (Priceline, usually $350 a night). Hotels are crazy because it's between Christmas and New Years.

Which hotel?

Rosen Centre something or other

Orlando Meeting Hotel | Orlando Convention Hotel | International Drive Hotel | Rosen Centre Hotel

Don't go through the hotel. Go through Priceline or Kayak or something like that.

We've stayed at the Rosen Shingle Creek several times and had a great stay each time.

Rosen Shingle Creek is a Team Host site but I waiting to here back which team from the Sales Manager.
As it stands now Rosen Shingle Creek Golf resort is $199/night for Dec 26th -Dec 29th.

Orlando has more hotel rooms than any US city... But it is seasonal and X Mas is one of its big seasons... any where from Kissimmee to Sandford is not a bad drive... Daytona / New Smyrna is only 45 minutes from Downtown Orlando... without Traffic... Like someone said use the web guys ie Expedia or Kayak dont go directly through the hotel..If you want to spend a few buck I recommend Downtown Disney...to save a few bucks I recommend Kissimmee area
