After rewatching the game , the running game wasn’t as bad as I thought Watching it live. Our rbs missed a few holes which could have went for bigger gains. Martinez who played great missed 2 that he would have housed for long yardage
Our Passing Offense - fast, quick strike, downfield attacking, big plays
Our Rushing Offense - big backs, power, wear you down, consistent chunk runs (but not many big plays)
I'm guessing our running game might get over-criticized this year and "feel" worse than it is (although I expect it to be highly effective) because it's going to be boring in comparison to our big play passing attack.
It's just a weird clash of styles when paired together.
I don't think we've had 2 big backs as our 1-2 punch in over 30 years.
