Ronald Delancey got his offer

This is a kid thst will be all up in his feel feels and go to Nebraska cause he was “disrespected”. In 2-3 years he will transfer to FAU after winning a total of 7 games while at Nebraska.

Maybe The coaches and community should teach these kids to take their emotion out of a business decision. You know maybe give them some good advice that will actually get them somewhere in life
They make business decisions all the time when they decide to not come here, the ones who get emotional are yall.

UGA is an elite team and we are FIU....also we shouldn't make bad evals when they are a block away

**** our very own Brevin Jordan was honored to get a bama offer. CU Bama UGA OsU if I was a 17 year old I would be honored cause it says your good enough to play at those places. It just cements your status

Yeah but it’s still bs. You can’t be mad at Miami for waiting and offering late after chasing 4-5 star kids when Georgia is doing the same but day you’re hoping for a UGA offer. You can’t show bias and double standards one second but tell coaches they need to make up things to you in the next. It doesn’t cast a positive light.

Have you seen his offer list? It’s not that good. This isn’t us offering jerry Jeudy at the last minute.
Its selective anger with some of these guys. Don't offer him till now it's an insult. If he was offered and committed to Miami there would be anger towards too many 3 stars, look at his ****** offers and guys that aren't worth a scholarship.

LOL. You will always defend kids that **** on miami, It's what you do. I could care less where this kid goes. He can go to Nebraska and be a loser, but then you can't say you didn't pick miami because we lose when you turn around and go to a loser program.

Crying about a late offer when his only other offers are from lesser programs, but the kid is justified in your opinion right?

He's allowed to go wherever he wants to.

And no I don't always defend kids that sh*t on Miami, he hasn't ****ted on Miami at all, we offered him yesterday & he's coming for a visit next month, what more do you want from him? How has he ****ted on Miami?

The issue is you guys just have a hard on for attacking kids who haven't done a **** thing to you & wanna trash 17/18 year olds for making their own decisions for what they feel is best for them.

What has he done that's so bad that has you so ****ed??

If he committed early, he could have absolutely used Miami as leverage to get a spotlight on him for more offers. I didn’t say now. We have the most decommits by far the last 5 years, FSU and Uf are 2nd and 3rd. It’s a Florida thing, particularly south Fl.

Exactly , Lamar Thomas said this in an interview other day. Said these kids use Miami to leverage offers from bag schools. He actually mentioned bags a lot. It’s almost like they exist or something.

Kid looks bigger than that...I'd guess 5'11 or close and about 175 or so.
Those are his official measurements. So unless he gained 15 pounds of muscle in a public high school lifting program...

"It's big," Delcaney told 247Sports and InsideTheU over the phone. "But they are going to have to work, you feel me? They were offering five and four-stars and they just forgot about us dogs – the two and three-stars. I didn't like that."

Delancey, who is ranked by 247Sports as the nation's No. 131 cornerback, has made nothing but plays as a senior for a Bulls' squad that's 10-5 and in the semifinals of the 5A state playoffs totaling 51 tackles and four interceptions.

"The coaches just apologized for the late offer," Delancey said.

Coaches hoping to get him in for a visit 12/6..........He is hoping for UGA offer.
I know they're 17/18yo, but It's high comedy really.
"But they are going to have to work, you feel me?" Translation: If they tell me I'm 1/2 on their board I will commit, because I don't really want to go to Nebraska or Maryland, unless UGA offers.

If the staff apologized like he said and if he accepted it I don’t see why we can’t flip this kid. I mean if it’s not personal. I’ve been w fan of his, even though he has a terrible rating. These are the types of kids we should keep home.

Good athletes that are hungry , hunger goes a long ways.

As of when? BC he definitely looks bigger on tape then even last year.
As of February. There’s no way he put on 15 of good weight in that time frame unless he’s got a professional helping him.

The coaches apologized for the late offer which validates everything he said.

There's nothing hypocritical about his statement at all, they acknowledged they should've been on him much earlier.
No it doesn't. They're telling him what he wants to hear to get him to calm down.

Who is ****ed my man? You shouldn't try to put emotion in a post where none is needed. You're the one thinking someone is mad and if anyone is slightly upset it's you thinking we are slamming the "poor 17/18 year olds." They try to act like grown men on social media shouldn't they be treated like it?

Now back to the convo...I didn't say this kid has **** on us. but is it not true that his offer list isn't impressive and we are the biggest most successful school on that offer list? Why would he be upset with the late offer? or is that just what the locals say and do to feign indignation against the home team? This is an honest question because when we offer kids who don't have great offers late they seem to be "disrespected" like because they played locally we should just hand them offers.

Blame Miami and the staff if he doesn’t end up here. Not because he was offered late (would’ve helped to offer early) but because he’s legitimately giving us a chance, visiting, and has always wanted to go to Miami.

If this staff has any clue how to recruit and close on a kid they’ll land him. If not, it proves what we already think, that Rumph &/or Banda can’t recruit for **** and can’t flip a kid from Nebraska.

This is what happens when you’re **** bent on only offering kids that are built just like Rumph and are 6’1+ and are placing less emphasis on **** that actually matters. We nearly lost Bandy for the same reasons.

We suck. If Louisville and Nebraska can take him we can too

We have some of the most entitled fans it’s unbearable. They think these kids should jump on a sinking ship just because they are local.

He would probably have a problem with the late offer because back in the Spring when he was visiting us multiple times with his teammates he was begging for an offer & we ignored him.

We offered him in late November after losing every other DB we have in the class except for one kid in Marcus Clarke, so he moved on with his recruitment to teams that were more interested in him which was Louisville & Nebraska.

Now that we've just recently decide to offer him after having no intention of offering him before is he supposed to drop everything & commit on the spot? We weren't recruiting him for an entire 9 months & now after we lose to FIU we all of the sudden start reaching out because every other option is turning away, is he supposed to be thrilled about that?

The point is, we haven't maintained contact or recruited him for the entire year & now that we've just offered him is he supposed not to weigh his options & see which is the best fit for him? He has no relationship with any of the coaches on staff because they didn't want him, so how is he supposed to just commit to a staff in such a short time that hasn't communicated with him at all until now?

The fact he's visiting next month shows he's at least interested, if he wasn't he wouldn't even come & why would it matter to yall anyway, yall don't even like kids from The West lol

Nope. Not unless he can afford to have a professional help him. They’ll cut it and have to put it back on. Wherever he goes.

Lol I'm not arguing this...If you don't think a 17-18 year old kid who is working out and getting ready for college, even if he is at a public school...Can gain15 lbs? I don't know what to tell you

The part that's hilarious to me is OOS kids do the same just as much but no one cares when they do it lol.

People seem to not realize that Miami doesn't have the cache of a top tier program on the recruiting trail, we're not on the same level as Bama, LSU, UGA, Oh St, Clemson, etc.. We can't enforce any kind of strict rules or expectations on prospects, we're lucky we even get the kids we do get considering how bad the program has been over the years lol.
