Ronald Delancey got his offer

Gogeta and Liberty City working at UM's recruiting department would get my full endorsement.
You both have demonstrated more knowledge and a better track record on evaluations than the people there now.
"It's big," Delcaney told 247Sports and InsideTheU over the phone. "But they are going to have to work, you feel me? They were offering five and four-stars and they just forgot about us dogs – the two and three-stars. I didn't like that."

Delancey, who is ranked by 247Sports as the nation's No. 131 cornerback, has made nothing but plays as a senior for a Bulls' squad that's 10-5 and in the semifinals of the 5A state playoffs totaling 51 tackles and four interceptions.

"The coaches just apologized for the late offer," Delancey said.

Coaches hoping to get him in for a visit 12/6..........He is hoping for UGA offer.
Waiting for UGA he gone

It’s a slap in the face from Miami being offered late but boy what an honor if it was Georgia. Can’t make this **** up.
UGA is an elite team and we are FIU....also we shouldn't make bad evals when they are a block away

**** our very own Brevin Jordan was honored to get a bama offer. CU Bama UGA OsU if I was a 17 year old I would be honored cause it says your good enough to play at those places. It just cements your status

I’ve been convinced that Rumph has the least of the power on the defensive staff. All the other hires are Diaz’s. He has to go through Baker and Diaz before he offers. I think Baker/Diaz are the ones that are looking for certain traits.

I would add Banda as well. I guarantee Banda can go and offer any safety prospect he wants. Rumph has to go ask daddy for the permission.

Have you seen his offer list? It’s not that good. This isn’t us offering jerry Jeudy at the last minute.

Right so for a kid like this, Miami is pretty much the same level as Nebraska or Louisville, but an offer from someone like Georgia is actually a big deal.

Everybody on his team got an offer. He is the alpha dawg of that squad and a leader. I would be offended too if my hometown squad didn’t offer and had a bunch of other kids in front of me. But I understand your point, a lot of kids be front running, I don’t think this is one of them.

I am very well aware how good he is. He should’ve had an offer a long time ago, but top programs haven’t offered him either. We’re damned if we do, damned if we don’t.

It’s pretty simple though: when you suck you have to get on these kids early and you don’t get the same benefit of the doubt as a program like Georgia, which is the hot school down here.

It wasn’t a bad eval, we just didn’t offer, which I agree shouldn’t happen in our own county it happens to plenty of schools. Saban did it with Ross at Clemson. It happens.

If we got on him early, he commits, leverages us for other offers, and likely decommits.

Then it’s the “why did we take his commitment so early now it’s another decommit oh em gee this is embarrassing.” We’re damned if we do damned if we don’t.

Miami is held to a different standard versus other programs in their own respective backyards. It just is what it is at this point. It’s been happening for 20 years and is nothing new. Not gonna beat this dead horse again.

No one leverages us for ****. You have to be good to be leveraged. That’s conspiracy theory nonsense this fan base has been telling itself for years to obscure the fact that we suck and continue to hire **** coaches.

If anything this kid would be leveraging better offers to get more bags from us, not the other way around.

When your slow played like that things change...I used to be a big homer and think like this but u have to hear all year from your HS teammates how UM sucks and they played u. That can make any 17 year old change there mind and realize hey if I go there they don't know wtf they are doing. I balled for years and now they offer me? **** them

That's how u have to think
That’s not how you have to think, nor is it how you should think. South Florida is infected.

Sure that’s fine. So Miami offered after basically only Nebraska and Louisville. It was late in the cycle but it’s not like we are offering after actual good programs.

This is a kid thst will be all up in his feel feels and go to Nebraska cause he was “disrespected”. In 2-3 years he will transfer to FAU after winning a total of 7 games while at Nebraska.

Maybe The coaches and community should teach these kids to take their emotion out of a business decision. You know maybe give them some good advice that will actually get them somewhere in life

If he committed early, he could have absolutely used Miami as leverage to get a spotlight on him for more offers. I didn’t say now. We have the most decommits by far the last 5 years, FSU and Uf are 2nd and 3rd. It’s a Florida thing, particularly south Fl.
