Williams will never be an Arroyo type of athletic TE, but he can be a very productive receiver ala the typical Iowa and ND type TEs. If he was going to leave because he wanted Arroyo's targets, he should have left last year. Now he leaves when he's in line to get the increased targets he so badly wanted since Arroyo is heading to the NFL

I don’t see him as a big loss .

Counterpoint: we haven’t been able to stop a slow white dude at tight end from catching the ball since the last game at the OB…can’t beat em join em?

Our d couldn’t stop **** regardless 😂 hopefully that’s fixed in the portal . We had slow *** lbs covering them. . We have to get faster even at wr . These wr had zero separation. You see how one our best WRs couldn’t out run the dbs of fsu one on one , It’s sickening and unacceptable.

Because he’s a blocking te that thinks he’s Travis Kelce. His body didn’t adjust to the weight room and he’s slowed down. He still wants to be a receiving te but it wouldn’t work here
 
This team has been mediocre for the past 20+ something year, and even then we know what good TE play looks like. We have still had plenty of TEs play in the NFL. He hasn’t shown anything to resemble thoughts TEs. The depth is a concern but the talent is not at all.

Not one school with a history of legit tes. I guess throwing ga and UNC makes it sound good.

If Delp returns to uga he is the flex option at te....and williams will be doing what he did here. Luckie Lawson i think outplayed Delp this year there anyway. So i aint buying the UGA there unless they are doing due dilligence with them possibly losing one to grad and another to the draft.

I thought be was home sick why would it.be anyone else but Oregon or Oregon state . Idgaf I wouldn’t let him come back , we need athletic te not big pulling guards at te
