I really want to believe all this. But I’m still hurting from that stomping last night.🤕 Too soon....

That's who UGA and Kirby really wanted was Lawrence but he wanted to play in the same HS system and that's why he choose Clemson. Fields wants to play in a pro style system with a lot of shotgun formation. He wants to be developed as a QB.

Supposedly Fields is going to get "equal" snaps to Fromm today against UF - again, from a long term poster with access to the team. Kirby has "relented" with regard to using him. If Fields doesn't get time and Fromm struggles or loses to UF, that board will rival ours for meltdowns.

entire rumor makes no sense it sounds completely made up by the internet...

Fromm is not Malik Rosier or even a Kelly Bryant situation... he's a great QB for Power 5 cfb level standards. I understand Fields wanting to play but why does anybody at UGa care when they already have a proven qb?

Fields committed knowing Fromm was only going to be a sophomore I don’t care for the bxtchn or threats about play me or else bs, Just take a redshirt and wait ur turn.

Side note: best case scenario for us would be Fields transferring to Miami :backyard-pool:

The first thing Kirby did is lay down the law that no one will be allowed to transfer to Miami. No one at that school or the sec will allow that dude to transfer down here.

That’s no longer allowed, kids can transfer at anytime and anywhere they’d like

Trevor didn’t run Clemson offense at his high school.. it was kinda of like richt system with a little more motion... fields should have stuck with penn state or auburn

Funny that you say that because I know a guy here (AU) that just recently told me that he thinks Fields transfers to Auburn if Malzahn is retained. Thinking is, he fits the offense better and can turn it around immediately. We shall see.

I'm interested in knowing what each conference decided. The NCAA did change the rule, but they also left wiggle room for each conference to adopt a more stringent rule.

Zero truth to that rumor. Fields has been looking at UF and Miami with Miami having the edge as he really loves Richt and the city of Miami as well as the school. Richt is still a pretty big deal to recruits in GA.

@Coach Macho, I am not hearing anything about him coming to play with Williams. I've heard he loves the city, he loves the coaches and culture, and Richt believes he can turn him into the next A.J. Green. He feels the system fits him and he will start as a true freshman with a lot of development and touches. The only player I heard linked to him is Fields in terms of QBs. That's his guy.
