I like this idea plus Fromm will come back next year in all likely the starter so someone will have to transfer plus our QB situation will favor him more

But hey rumors are cool I always thought Kirby looked like down low but pirate. But it’s just a rumor.
 
This is what happens when you get a kid to commit by promising him the starting job.

Fields: Coach, you said if I came here, I'd be starting.
Smart: Uh well..uh..the thing is...we'll get you a couple of QB draws next week.
Fields: *** it. I'm out.

People here wondering how Georgia kept finding ways to sign the top QB in the nation every year. You lie to them.

Ben Hill Griffin said “I’ll turn over in my grave if a black QB ever plays at UF.” It was a major problem with people within when Leak was QB.
 
I think they told Fields for sure he would get more playing time then he would, don't forget he was due a big singing bonus as a drafted MLB player but turned it down. I think Hasselwood is probably seeing how they won't use the freshman WR and was given a line of BS of how he would start and all this and saw how Fields was done, and seeing how they don't utilize their current freshman WR and decided to decommitt. There may be some hard feelings for the baseball player dropping the N bomb, but I don't know if they won't let a black kid play QB that's a pretty big deal if that is anyway true.
 
I don’t know of the rumors are true. And honestly I doubt that they are but for whatever reason it’s out there.
But I can’t believe that people have hard time imagining that it might be true. Why is it so hard to believe that a school in the south might have some very wealthy donors that are some hardcore racist? I had a shift where a family walked out of the ER cause there were no white doctors. I had a gentleman ask me if there was anyway I can guarantee that there is no ni..er blood in a blood transfusion.
Yes there are people that would rather not win than win with an black qb. It’s not that hard of a thing to believe.
 
i dont care about smart, them firing richt, i just want uga to start to fall off so we can get some good georgia talent.

UGA is a racist school. I was raised 25 mins from there. It's racist af and the boosters DO NOT want a Black QB. They signed Fields so he wouldn't sign to UF, LSU, or Auburn who are UGA's rivals.

D.J. played there and they didn't use him till his senior year when he was ALWAYS better than Greene.

Qunicy Carter got screwed in his last season. That's what made me leave them to become a Canes fan along time ago.

I used to think Richt was a racist then he left UGA and I realized it was just the stupid *** boosters and not Mark. UGA fanbase is litter with white supremacists, proud boys, **** apologists, all lives matter, and race soldiers sympathizers.

He is better than Fromm. That's the problem. This isn't a Cam Newton - Tim Tebow issue where Tebow is just much better at that stage for this level. This is more like choosing Wilton Spelights over Johnny Manizel. Who would do that? No one. Fromm is just another Hackenburg

If my people are right, Justin Fields is strongly considering transferring to Miami. He really wants to play in a system that will get him ready for the NFL and long term success with developing QB's. That's the reason why Jadon is considering Miami and when Fields transfers, expect other recruits to come on board like Emery. I am hoping the NCAA can remove that stupid redshirt rule for transfers. I been hearing that this might happen this upcoming year. It's only fair. Coaches don't have to redshirt.

FWIW, one of my neighbors played at UGA back in the 80's and said that fields made a mistake signing there. He would have chose FSU because the boosters were not going to want to play him and when he did play if he made 1 bad pass they would want to pull him. He even thinks if they get a commit like Harrison Bailey from Marietta GA Fields may transfer.

I told my friend the same thing. UGA is the most racist school in the country. My sibling had to protest there to get Black professors to get hired as UGA was like f*** that. I though my cousins who were top recruits to tell UGA racist *** to **** off. They did and signed elsewhere. I was happy. They have a terrible relationship with Black people. Atlanta is the only saving grace in Georgia. In reality, it's worse than Mississippi and Kentucky for Blacks. Horrible state. Horrible horrible state.

No it is not. There is no way in **** anyone can say Athens is progressive much less anywhere near Atlanta. Black people are one step away from the plantation in Athens. You must not be Black. No one would make that statement. Not anyone Black from Athens, close to Athens, in Atlanta, etc.

As someone who lived in Georgia for a long time I must say the entire state sucks. And Athens and Atlanta are the worst.

Two things:

A very long term poster on the UGA board put out some info that seems to corroborate the Fields story. He did not mention names but basically said his "people" told him Fields will leave at the end of the season and that he will bring Haselwood and at least one other recruit with him. And he also said it was shocking to him who they would go to. TIFWIW.

And there has also been chatter on the UGA board that if Fields leaves he may try and use the racism card as a "hardship" in order to get released without sitting out a year. Will be interesting to see how it plays out...

I make no judgement here - simply sharing some info that has been the subject of discussion on their board

Supposedly Fields is going to get "equal" snaps to Fromm today against UF - again, from a long term poster with access to the team. Kirby has "relented" with regard to using him. If Fields doesn't get time and Fromm struggles or loses to UF, that board will rival ours for meltdowns.
