And why is Holcutt getting a pass? Why isnt he under investigation... He's the coward that admitted access to this scumbag and ran at the first sign of trouble... I hope the NCAA investigate him... He was warned and didnt adhere to the warnings...

Exactly. Lol. For all we know this could have been an incident with Shapiro from his Freshman year, or even when he was fist being recruited. No one in THIS THREAD knows the EXACT situation. Just more speculation.

This. Ish happens. Unfortunately it never came together for Ray Ray. I hope he learns from this and grows. Janoris jenkins balled out at FCS level and he's stock wasn't hurt too much.....and that fool loved his weed!

Bring on the new pups.....Jenkins and Bush bout to get all they can handle.

No.. only the powers that be know BUT

One can assume that he either wasn't forthcoming about Shapiro OR he did something to **** of Golden/UM that was the last straw. Either or doomed his fate.
And that's what makes it inexcusable.

Yeah, I'm concerned about SH too. Don't get me wrong, at the end of the day we don't need anyone here who can't get wit it....but here's to hoping SH can and does, because his talent is far superior to that of a RRA, and we could use him (if he's got his mind right).

I knew by age 16 that I was responsible for my own dumbass decisions.

two quick questions:
1) with ray ray out of the picture, how do you see the snaps being divided among vt, highsmith, rodgers, bush and jenkins?
2) if bush and/or jenkins get significant playing time AND play well, will this negatively impact our chances with carter or burns?
