Ray Ray.. its Official

So after reading all this, nobody seems to know what he actually did to get kicked off the team??

Exactly. Lol. For all we know this could have been an incident with Shapiro from his Freshman year, or even when he was fist being recruited. No one in THIS THREAD knows the EXACT situation. Just more speculation.

+1
No one really knows whats going on...

No.. only the powers that be know BUT

One can assume that he either wasn't forthcoming about Shapiro OR he did something to **** of Golden/UM that was the last straw. Either or doomed his fate.
And that's what makes it inexcusable.

Whatever he did is moot..

JC

More assumptions. SMH.

This isn't an assumption:

-An expected senior leader of our defense was kicked off the team. This is a fact.
Explanation? It wasn't because he was an exceptional student athlete.

-Players don't get kicked off teams for one "small mistake". They just don't.

-Ray Ray was suspended for a significant portion of last season for Shapiro dealings. This is another fact.

This is an assumption:
-If his release is in some way related to Shapiro, God help us.

I truly wish him well wherever he goes.

But if this causes the NCAA to come down harder on us because of his actions, all bets are off, and I suspect this will come down to a zero tolerance policy from the highest levels of the University.

This is bad really bad. We are soooo ****D

sit on your face.webp

Wait, people are actually defending Ray Ray?

hahaha-lulz.jpg

Does anyone honestly think he was booted for no reason in particular? Golden just woke up and decided to ****-can him? That doesn't jibe with anything we know about Golden.

Whatever Ray Ray did to get the big boot, I'm sure it involved taking a bad angle.

Well, kid, there's millions of dollars riding on this game. People's jobs too. Ray Ray's conduct affects his teammates, his coaches, and his university.

That said, what's done is done. I wish the young man luck in the future. He's talented and I hope he finds a great school where he can showcase that talent his senior season.

Some of you immature males need to grow up. Seriously he is a kid I don't care if he made mistakes. Some of you posters act like you are so **** perfect. It's funny to throw dirt on someone who not only lost out on finishing up his career on a positive note.

Stop with the immature crap.. This is not scout or rivals. I thought I came over here for something different.

Might be time to rethink staying with the website.

I know I will get the immature comments about me not being wanted or I'm not #cane enough.. Lol grow up.. really
He actually is not a kid. I get tired of people making this excuse for student athletes. He is a legal adult and needs to start learning how to act like one. He made more than "some mistakes" and the severity of these mistakes are obviously nothing to scoff at, or he wouldn't have been kicked off the team. Instead of telling people to stop being immature (when they really aren't), why don't you stop coddling RRA and his type of attitude that has plagued our program for years.

Good riddance if you are rethinking staying here. Your type of attitude is what is wrong with society today.

He has made "some mistakes". How has he made more? What excuse for student athletes lol? We are the same as a regular student except we play sports. Not a single student loan will ever be paid ,No excuses made.
He has repeatedly made mistakes since he has been here, some of which are obviously severe. The excuse that I'm referring to is calling student athletes "kids" as a way to rationalize and coddle their behavior.

He has shown he has no respect for his team, the coaches, or the university and its reputation on multiple occasions during his time here. If you want to spin that, be my guest.

What "repeated mistakes" has he made. Your making it seem as if he made more then two or three. What others has he made? Please tell me. Lol most student athletes are "kids" they are between 17-22 years old most of time. Granted I'm not a student athlete at Miami, however my coach and parents still see me as a kid/very young adult and I'm 20. It's not that serious. It's a game, FANS make it into more then that for some reason, and I never understood why. Your not the ones waking up to run at four-six in the morning, your not the ones who are going to have to deal with the wear and tear from the game on your body later on in life, etc..... You get to watch, just like I get to watch Miami football.

I hear you but don't let it get to you. Ray Ray will be alright. The road just took a few twists for him now but he'll make it OK. He still has a chance to be very successful if he works hard. This will be a good lesson for him.

Some of you immature males need to grow up. Seriously he is a kid I don't care if he made mistakes.

I'm not mad at him

Wish him good luck @ Alabama State

I understand that, but like you said, at the end of the day it's still a "game". None of these "fans" are receiving any of the millions. kids who sign with schools outside of their state, or switch commitments and are getting death threats/threats at all from grown *** adults is crazy. Too much emotional investment Isput in by people who benefit in absolutely no way, besides being able to brag to their friends, or other rival school members about their team/recruiting class being number 1. I guess if that all you have in life..... Oh well.

In reading some premium stuff of what Ray supposedly did, the guy is an idiot. He offering to come meet a chick and get a hotelly because "I got so much money from agents".

Trickin for *** online...

I don't wish him good luck or bad luck. I am indifferent to him and whatever happens to him.

But **** I'm happy I don't have to watch him ever attempt to play safety for the Miami Hurricanes ever again.

I'm laughing because this is all gonna turn out to be nothing, and you're all ****ing about players that are going to start for us this year. Idiots, all of you are idiots.

Who's the idiot now?

But but but Ray Ray was getting rave reviews from the coaches and I bet he starts the opener........lol at you guys that were defending Ray Ray. I'm glad this guy is off the team. Bring on Rayshawn Jenkins and Deon Bush!
