Quick Update & Recruiting Q&A: Pierre,Cunningham, etc.

Yeah because we have more commits than most teams. Our average commit rating is 15th and we seem to be trending down for alot of our top guys . I mean look at the spring game visitor list for crying out loud. It's awful. Then go look at FSUs and UFs. We are trending down in recruiting right now for whatever reason and this is a fact. Sorry if some of you baby back ******* can't accept anything other than people spraying rainbows up your asses.
Man shut your bîtch *** up. We are not trending down for anybody. About to pick up more commits this summer from mcintosh, likely davis, ingraham, huff will probably jump on, smith, tarquin. All are 4 star recruits. We lead for neal, stevenson, richards. In a good spot with dixon. Miami and clemson battle for ladson. Tyler davis said miami is right there with clemson and osu now. Miami leads for bogle.

Spagahetti is miami and stanford battle. Sorrells is announcing in august and looks to be a miami and oregon battle. So where is recruiting trending down? Take that bullshît on.

The All-Star game was the Legends Inaugural HS All-Star game. Don't get me wrong @gcane44 in the right system he could be a REALLY GOOD College RB and he is that for his High School but he could also be an ELITE LB .. he reminds me of a bigger Travis Homer (running style) with more moves and less speed

I get that, and I agree that we def seem to be trending that way but...

I’d bet on 55 leaving after this season. That would leave Jennings as our only guy that could even play MLB st any given situation and I don’t like that..
Nothing against Jennings, he hasn’t done anything to write himself off but I’m just all about competition. While Eaford looks like a very good 2 down guy with the ability to potentially play 3, Hopper def has some versatility and I’d love to land him. Kid was playing CB in some clips, that has 3 down written all over him and he has the size to hold up inside.

And even in the short yardage and GL like you mentioned, what if Jennings were to get hurt next year? Depth never hurts. IMO we must land a MLB type amongst the 3-5 LB’s we take and those 3 guys (Pierre, Hopper, Eaford) seem to be the only legit options.

It is early though, and I’m sure more targets will emerge but hopefully they don’t because if they do then that likely means ..
Eaford could never play MLB, he has been a rush end his whole career and never had to read offensive linemen and react from the MLB position.

It takes time to obtain those instincts.

Just b/c Eaford has the size of a MLB, does not make him a MLB!

He may be able to excel as an OLB in a 3-4 (pretty much a rush end) but will take years to become an effective OLB in a 4-3 (think MRob and McCord).

I personally don’t want Eaford in this class and will be pretty upset if we lose Pierre, b/c IMO he is the best MLB in the state.

I have to check Hoppers film, but I would still want to keep Pierre.

gotta be kidding me. this is the qb recruiting strategy? all in on MJJ, thats fine, but if we miss then scour for a hidden gem??? wow. I' sure you don't know the answer, but why in the world would we not be going after another top prospect just in case? why are we poverty?

also, taking just one WR would be a disaster. depending on how good their years go, we could potentially lose Richards, Cager, Langham, & Harris after this season. must stay loaded at the skill positions.
That 4 leaving and we just took 4 this last class while only loosing 1. Im not getting your point.

What are your sauces saying about Crowley? Seems pretty locked in.

How much money you wanna put on that?
Your making no sense. We just had one of the biggest junior days in the country. We then followed that up with a huge underclassmen day and got 4 commits. We have elite talent at every practice. I dont see how we are getting our *** kicked.

It's roughly 7 months until the early signing period, and another 2 months until Signing day. Not one snap of actual football has been played in '18 for HS or NCAA. We just hosted a ton of juniors and underclassmen for weekends a few weeks back. Calm your man ***** about a Spring Game list of attendees that is meaningless in the grand scheme of things. You're reaching Gator.

I am not saying he's decommits just wonder if you see him eventually listed as a ATH with the potential of playing LB that's all.

I think the kid is athletic enough to be an LB. Heck i really like Crowley, but i also think he is a really good fit for the type of physical downhill running game CMR would like to have too. I think this is a kid who will be a low 4* by the time the evals are done to be honest. He has a lot of potential as a football player which should have us all excited.

I’m well aware, I guess it just comes down to preference. I see an athletic tough defender with good short area burst and explosion as well as range. Yes, he would have to learn the position and it could take time but he could be money there down the line.
Pierre plays MLB and is more natural there but doesn’t possess the talent that Eaford has IMO in terms of his skill set. So it’s pick your poison. I guess I would just rather gamble on the kid learning the spot paired along with his athletic ability.

...and in no way was I trying to imply that just because a kid has the size of an MLB, he is automatically an MLB. I know that. I was just saying in addition to everything else I like about the kid, the size to play MLB is just a plus.

I agree he is a bell cow and if our running game looks like UGA then he's the right guy he carries the ball a lot real workhorse and plays both ways.. I am simply a fan of backs that compliment each other ie. Michel & Chubb McIntosh and Crowley are very similar but if it shakes out like that so be it.

You ALL are sounding like some ******* on Jerry Springer. Valid points from each view.
