quick hits and take from practice tonight

I'm on the Williams bandwagon. I wanted him to get more burn this year. You can't coach heart into existence. Either you play scared or you don't. Completely not expecting him as a matter of habit to repeatedly run out of an intact pocket while throwing the ball across his body into the field of play. From the small sample I've seen of Williams he appears to be as Canes have described: accurate with OK arm strength. We can score on teams in the ACC with that formula.

If our QB play is worse next year, it's going to be a rough one, given that the schedule is much less favorable and that we're losing a lot on the front-seven.

with Williams as the starter, the field shrinks. the game is played between the hashes pretty much. gonna be real ugly IMO and I pray that Olsen is good enough to pass him up.

Cornelius covering Coley

Dat bout sums it up duddinit?

I honestly don't understand it. Maybe him and Golden are Penn State sleeper cells sent to destroy us from the inside by the ghost of JoePa. I don't know.

Way over-exaggerating. While Williams doesn't have a rocket arm, he's got enough arm to make all but the toughest throws. He's got at least as much arm as past Miami greats like Dorsey and Walsh. He'll also be surrounded by dynamic playmakers.

This.

Make good decisions. Spread the ball around. Convert on third down. Don't turn the ball over, especially in the redzone. Accuracy. Lead.
Give the ball to Duke.
