QBS in the Portal as of 11/28

April.

Simple prediction. If we can't pull anyone out of the draft, Drones will enroll at UM by January 22nd.

I'm assuming you're referring to the following four options

  • Ewers
  • Milroe
  • Beck
  • Drones

All of them are better than what we have. Beck concerns me with the surgery. Drones was injured last year as well. Ewers is probably going to stay in the draft after his playoff performances. Milroe is a heck of an athlete, but he's not very good throwing the ball. To me of that list our realistic board looks like a Beck/Drones option.

How aggressive have we been with Drones up to this point? If we been pitching him already, what is he waiting for? Or is he a backup up if guys like Beck and Ewers don’t work out?

honestly looked exactly like emory against Iowa State - but kaaya was a summer enrollee and had only been there 3 months

emory been here 2 years in an offense that has proven to work
And the line was bad. Kaaya got hit about 17 times that game. And that’s not an exaggerated numbe

I disagree with him not being that good. But it's just my imo.

He's good, but as I've said numerous times, he's not (at least yet) an elite QB, and I have a lot of doubts to how he'd perform in an offense that asked him to throw it more than 20 times a game.
