Is it a given that Beck would leave UGA if deciding to return to college? He just in New Orleans with the team for their game against Notre Dame.

They are adding some nice pieces at receiver and Bell at TE is returning.

well "good" is a relative term with what's been available

it's not anywhere near last year's class - even believe mateer is relatively overrated playing a g5 schedule (cam played in true pac 12) and he was by far the best option this year

according to 247 rankings of QBs (take that with a grain of salt), here are the QBs still available

Matt Sluka (#16 qb)
Mark Gronowski (#27)
Devin Brown (#31)
Israel Carter #42
Aidan Glober #43
Tyler van dyke #45 -definitely SMU it seems
kai horton #54
Alex orji #55 -- I mean after him, what's the point of even going down the list

for reference

mendoza is #3
air noland #11
Thomas castellanos #20

so yeah, all the relatively "good" ones are gone and we're cooked unless someone enters soon or in the spring

If any FBS team takes this kid, it better be because they need to hold a clipboard.

Almost no true freshman are very good, even hyped five stars without godly physical tools. It takes time to adjust to college, and Emory has many more reps and experience with the system
Emory will be a better option than Nickel, a fringe 4-star prospect.

Michael Pratt was good as a true freshman, but they ran the ball A LOT to protect him.

Do you know why they only played him in 1 game? I'll assume the reports that he was good in practice this year are true. He wasn't good in the games he started last year. If there was such a difference between his practice performance this year and what he showed in games last year, why not test him more in game action?

Emory could have played a series or two at the end of the UF/USF/FSU/WF games. I don't get it.

This post, times a trillion.

I was very suspect on how much burn Poff got in the early part of 2024, but I assumed it was an abundance of caution on the injury.

Now, I'm more concerned that it was wishful thinking...that one day our little flower would bloom...and the day never came...
