Sure...as we have seen on these boards through multiple coaching failures/replacements.

Maybe it's true for you, personally, but I've read the same exact spiralling cycle of bullcrap on Miami Scout/Rivals/247/on3 boards for 20 years.

And for the record, I don't knock doubters. I knock repetitive mopery, where people post the same miserable jokes over and over and over again.

Ask questions. Challenge assumptions. Make suggestions. If you really want UM and/or Mario to be successful, try showing that, instead of inventing insulting nicknames for a coach and then repeating those nicknames for years.

Does anyone really think that calling Mario "Meathead" or "Caveman" on a public forum will either help him to win more games or lead to an early termination of his contract?

We finally got a change at President. We may soon have a change at AD. We will definitely have a new DC. Dennis is going to have to sit at the little kid's table. Beyond the coordinator level, we are probably going to have to find a new crew of young grinders to serve their college coaching apprenticeships, and we need to stabilize our balance between HS and Portal recruiting.

Not only the balance between HS/Portal recruiting, but also the strategy we incorporate. Too often it feels like we put our eggs into 1 basket without any contigency plans. That shows arrogance or ineptitude - I lean towards arrogance since he did have success in the HS recruiting game. But the entire game has changed and we need to be out in front of those changes.

The Qb recruiting has been erratic as best. And the timing of the pursuits couldn’t be worse. I get that we wanted to shoot our shot with Mateer, nothing wrong with that. But we needed to have a plan b we could have turned to immediately when things start turning the corner. Last year, when we got lucky Cam changed his mind, it was so far late that it impacted the WRs we could have brought in had Cam signed early on.

This year its much the same - WRs want to know who the QB is going to be. Most will move on and not wait for us to figure it out. Thats a huge problem.

I like the fact there are changes coming… hope it will change the narrative on how do things.

The NCAA is getting out of hand with eligibility. He's already been in college for 5 years. He'll be 24 in March and still play 2 more years?
