I hope this at least opens some eyes. We are experiencing firsthand the risks of banking solely on the portal for a QB.
Defending it with "Emory was a Ponce guy" is a terrible and weak excuse.
If that's case and Dawson isn't/wasn't sold on Emory, then why in the **** did he sign Judd?
Signing a Luke Nickel once every 4 years is going to leave us in this situation more often than not.

Pretty sure they changed the rule to everyone having to adhere to the windows now, graduates dont mean anything.
New NCAA transfer portal legislation brings updated rules for grad transfers
Included in changes to NCAA transfer legislation a week ago, grad transfers will now need to enter the portal before their sports' final transfer windows.

Would they pay an injured player to stay through the bowl game, though?
For me, the window is huge because I want whoever is transferring to do it before spring practice.

Fair. I wasn't sure if he would be back for the game or not.

Supposedly there are going to be changes to our talent acquisition processes. There’s more information in the French/UTSA thread about how we have realized the need for upgrading how we do things. I’m not certain what that all entails, but I’m hopeful that it bring about much needed changes.

Let's not forget, if your head coach leaves, the Portal Window opens for 30 days.
And there may still be some coaching dominoes to fall.
Whether that happens by January 22nd is still to be seen.
