Doubters want to be wrong about Mario, more than they would like to be right because that would mean he’s successful.
Sure...as we have seen on these boards through multiple coaching failures/replacements.
Maybe it's true for you, personally, but I've read the same exact spiralling cycle of bullcrap on Miami Scout/Rivals/247/on3 boards for 20 years.
And for the record, I don't knock doubters. I knock repetitive mopery, where people post the same miserable jokes over and over and over again.
Ask questions. Challenge assumptions. Make suggestions. If you really want UM and/or Mario to be successful, try showing that, instead of inventing insulting nicknames for a coach and then repeating those nicknames for years.
Does anyone really think that calling Mario "Meathead" or "Caveman" on a public forum will either help him to win more games or lead to an early termination of his contract?
We finally got a change at President. We may soon have a change at AD. We will definitely have a new DC. Dennis is going to have to sit at the little kid's table. Beyond the coordinator level, we are probably going to have to find a new crew of young grinders to serve their college coaching apprenticeships, and we need to stabilize our balance between HS and Portal recruiting.
