Fine, I’ll bite.

Misleading as Tune was granted 5th year due to covid and that’s when he did his best work.

You wanna compare passing numbers, then be fair and equal. Here’s how they ACTUALLY stack up passing.

Milroe - 27 career starts
5,789 yards passing. 42TDs, 18INTs

Tune - first 27 starts
6,515 yards passing, 51TDs, 26 INTs

Tune averaged only 30 more YPG passing. It’s incomparable when you factor in rushing. Jalen Milroe at UM next year would be by FAR his best season ever in college.
Fair enough with those numbers, as massaged as they are. If you can turn on the tape and tell me that Milroe can make all the throws that Tune could in Dawson's system, I'll believe you. And 30 YPG difference isn't exactly anything to sneeze at. 241 vs 214 from your numbers.

I hope you're right. I think fixing the D and getting a QB that fits our system (not us tweaking our offense to fit a QB) are of equal importance for any success we have next year.

Our fanbase has been spoiled by a generational QB, but we need to maintain perspective and expectations. We can't expect a generational QB every year but hopefully Emory's short exposure showed what the offense is capable of without Cam.

We just need a good-enough passer that can keep the defense honest and lead the team. The more talented the better, but game-management ability and consistency trumps inconsistent potential and flashiness. We need to think about looking more like Oregon this season with an elite high-quality game-manager, than the elite-level passing-game with Cam.

You cannot be more wrong, the guy has a draftable grade from the NFL and with that you don’t go from South Dakota State to Washington State. It’s basically a lateral move nowadays.

It’s P4 or NFL.
Maalik Murphy went from duke to Oregon state

I get he’s considered draftable

But the only thing I know for sure is that I don’t know and you don’t know, despite the absolute’s you’re speaking in
