Beck is baaaaaaaad. He did struggle but I’d still take him over what we have. UGA’s WRs did him no favors this year either.
It seems a really strange decision to enter the Portal unless he has something lined up.No possible way it’s a coincidence that this kid isn’t committed anywhere yet.
No. Beck is a loser:
If either do entice Ewers, would we have interest in any of their younger kids with high upside to come and compete with Emory? I know Oregon has Dante Moore and Sayin at OSU. Would either of them interest us?He hasn't made a decision yet, but all signs point to him coming back for another year & entering the Portal.
His draft grade would likely be rounds 3-5 & he makes more money now off NIL than he would as a 4th or 5th rounder under contract, so he'll probably stay in college.
It's been rumored that Oregon plans on offering him a massive NIL deal at the end of the season.
There's also some rumblings that Oh ST might be trying to make a pitch to get him to come back.
You need a proven QB in the Portal, surely? If either do entice Ewers, would we have interest in any of their younger kids with high upside to come and compete with Emory? I know Oregon has Dante Moore and Sayin at OSU. Would either of them interest us?
I think I’m slowly starting to transform into a mope.
I’m fighting the urge, but I’m loosing optimism and hope here.

Idk what their interests would be, but me personally I'm good on Dante Moore, he stinks. If either do entice Ewers, would we have interest in any of their younger kids with high upside to come and compete with Emory? I know Oregon has Dante Moore and Sayin at OSU. Would either of them interest us?
I would tend to agree, But at some point, the proven qbs currently in the portal may/may not elevate the ceiling more than a game or two. To me, those types are the “safe” play that can elevate us from current projection of 6-7 wins to maybe 8-9 wins. Where a high level youngster such as Dante Moore could be a boom or bust recruit. Boom - we get to the playoff, but the bust is 4-6 wins. You need a proven QB in the Portal, surely?

I hope he goes back to OSU would be fitting because they won't win with him either.
Would be nice to have him but he was pushed out by Deboer da Gaw so he must not be any good either. Then someone else will have Sayin under center next season
Concepcion is not leaving a freshman at NC State to come and play with another Freshman at Miami.Really wish Morris would’ve taken more time. I’m assuming he’s signed at this point.
If we can’t get Robertson roll with Nickel. Don’t give Mendoza 1mm+. Throw money at Concepcion and another outside receiver and just give him the keys.
It’s stupid but Mario never seems to amaze me
same.I’m not big on Ewers . I’d rather go Mendoza
tried that last year.We finna yank Arch from Texas
and he made plays under pressure. he was always running for his life.Just go get Mendoza if you can at this point. He was sacked 41 times this season. Hope with our OL and a stronger run game you can get him to 3500 yards 25 TDs with a 65% completion percentage. Not sure if he will even consider since he has time already with IU and others but you have to try now. Just can’t have Emory as your QB with a true freshman pushing him lol
If Emory is our QB next year I don't think we win 6-7 games. I don't get what this is assumption is based on. Look at our schedule and tell me which 6-7 games we are winning with Emory as our QB and why. It's possible, but it's also possible that I win the Powerball and have *** with Marisa Tomei. Not likely though.I would tend to agree, But at some point, the proven qbs currently in the portal may/may not elevate the ceiling more than a game or two. We already gambled and lost. What’s another gamble?
But if he had something lined up already wouldn't he have signed by now. Has he even visited any of the schools who were initially linked to him?It seems a really strange decision to enter the Portal unless he has something lined up.
He's at a mid-tier ACC team and played ok this year. It's not like he blew everyone out of the water.
