Ewers could probably end up in either of those buckets himself but I don't think he's an NFL draft QB right now. He'd get picked but there's more money for him next year in the college game with the chance to improve his draft stock as well and really cash in.

Ewers is not as mobile as they were, so it’s not as if an read option spread will open up his potential.

His arm is also shot from the collar injury.

I’ve been watching him and Nuss. Thought they made the most sense.

But his play the last few weeks has been scaring me off. Hoping it’s the injury if that’s the way we lean.

His arm is not shot lol go watch the Michigan game. He had zip then. The abdominal issue he sustained this year is what's preventing him from putting torque in his delivery.

He's not as mobile as Nix but he can scoot

I mean we’re RPO based if that’s what you’re saying or saying he wouldn’t fit here.

Cam might have had 3 designed runs all year and not many read option plays where him keeping it was in the cards.
 
Ewers is injury prone and it's definitely effected his arm strength this year (collarbone last year, abs this year) plus he's on a bad ankle

The thing that bothers me the most is the turnovers in the red zone. Watching him the past few weeks has been rough

I believe some QBs in the transfer market or waiting to enter are watching what happens with Mateer, and the aforementioned QBs don't negate that; it's known that Miami showed no interest whatsoever in Mensah and sometimes dudes know where they're going before they enter the portal.
