Trying to find his career air yard data. I feel like that wasn't the case in prior years.I think the injury has played into the low air yards. Also, no AD Mitchell or Xavier Worthy stretching the field.

Had one of the lowest air yards per attempt in the country.
2023 the lowest guys in that metric basically had 2 totally different career trajectories - Mertz and Nix
Ewers could probably end up in either of those buckets himself but I don't think he's an NFL draft QB right now. He'd get picked but there's more money for him next year in the college game with the chance to improve his draft stock as well and really cash in.

I’ve been watching him and Nuss. Thought they made the most sense.I rewatched a lot of 2023 Ewers this morning, and it was a lot more downfield to Worthy and Mitchell. Ball definitely had more zip to it as well.
Ewers is not as mobile as they were, so it’s not as if an read option spread will open up his potential.
His arm is also shot from the collar injury.
I mean we’re RPO based if that’s what you’re saying or saying he wouldn’t fit here.Ewers is not as mobile as they were, so it’s not as if an read option spread will open up his potential.

I haven't read this whole thread, but I figured he'd go to the NFL. Any reason to think he'd come back?Yeah just waiting on Ewers to finish up the season.

I’m not a Ewers guy but I’d say yes. And if nothing else he’s a known name that would help with portal recruiting. Is Ewers > Emory, Judd, Luke?
That is question.
Just the whispers my friend. Sit very quietly and listen. After all, how can mirrors be real if our eyes aren't? Tea leaves. They want us all to think the sun is hot. I urge you to ask yourself. Have you they touched it"? Think about it.Any reason to think he'd come back?
well guys, it was a fun time, but I've decided to enter the transfer portal and commit to arizona state! The only thing ASU has to pay with is *****....
you are missing the fact that Ewers is a junior.Hey fellas I know I’m late to the party re: Ewers but we are talking about the Texas QB, right? I thought it was last year of eligibility and on to NFL after this year. Of course I know Arch ain’t waiting another season but what am I missing
CFP gonna pull a 180 next year just to ***** us.TrumpyCane read Ewers is undefeated against unranked opponents
So theres that
Evidently players aren't waiting for Mateer - the Texas A&M and Tulane QBs committed on the spot. They both could have got wined and dined by multiple programmes if they were serious.
