The only other option is Mateer waiting for a playoff team, but that would put WASU in a pickle if he delays entry and then decides to portal after the QB pool runs dry.

Evidently players aren't waiting for Mateer - the Texas A&M and Tulane QBs committed on the spot. They both could have got wined and dined by multiple programmes if they were serious.

Leavitt loves ASU and they will give him enough NIL to stay.

Ewers we won’t know until Texas either loses or wins the CFP. If they win and he does good, he’s NFL bound, if arch goes in…. He’s got the potential no other QB in the portal has.

Drones- who knows with him. VT players leaving because of no NIL and they suck. He’s also not a good QB.

Salter- Cuse or Colorado lined up visits

Bailey- didn’t he post he’s staying for another year

We beat Jordan Travis and made him crawl like a dog at hard rock. Dude came back and had back to back 10 win seasons.

People look at cfb qb’s like it’s the nfl. You can make the playoffs and win 10 games in cfb but suck in the nfl. Just cause someone’s game and measurable may not be nfl an prototype, it doesn’t mean they can’t win a lot games in college.
Castellanos is a headache for defenses.
But idk if fsu will be able to give him what he needs to win a lot of games.

Castellanos is a poor passer. He is good at one phase of the QB game, running/scrambling, but not the most important part, actually accurately and smartly throwing the ball
 
Unless Texas wins the Natty, Ewers is done at Texas. And that's good for him. I'd take him in a heartbeat. It's pretty clear his abdominal injury is still lingering. He's not putting torque in his throwing motion, so the usually zip on his passes aren't there. And you can see that with the type of throws he he's been making since coming back from injury.

The pressure and the obsession of Texas fans with Arch is always a factor I'd say that could be getting to him. Come to Miami with no backup QB pressure, 2 portal WRs + Horton, Trader, Carr, Riley Williams, Lofton. Plus a run game that we can lean on at times, as Texas has done the back half of this season.

Look at next years schedule, we get Notre Dame, UF, at FSU, at Pitt and at SMU. We need a QB that's played big games before, and has played well in his fair share of big games. Look at his resume. @Bama, Red River, CFP semi, @Michigan, 2 Conference Championship games.

Land Ewers, portal WRs, and fix the talent in the defense and we're in Charolette.

Crazy thing is people dissing Mendoza watch a few highlight clips from 1 game shows his running ability, willingness to stand in pocket to deliver a throw, his ability to drop a ball in the bucket down the field, and his functional athleticism @DMoney often talks about with QBs where FM makes a running off platform TD throw.



Again this kid is a top 100 draft pick in my eyes down the road. See if he would take a hometown discount.

A lot more people on this board would like him if he was from Houston Texas. Being Cuban and having ties to Mario is a negative for a lot of people.
