QBS in the Portal as of 11/28

I'm probably in the minority, but I'm good with Emory Williams based on what I saw last year and this season. Sufficient arm strength and accuracy with good mental makeup. Spend the money elsewhere on people who can run, cover and tackle.
I hear what you are saying but there is just no way MC can go into year 4 with such a massive question at QB. If he can put together offensive talent like this past season and let Emory distribute the ball to all the playmakers I guess I can see a scenario where that works but we have ND and UF in the first 4 weeks along with an ACC that will continue to improve.

Your idea seems like a huge gamble for next season.

Is Emory really that big of a question mark in comparison the other QBs available in the portal? I don't see any Cam Wards thus far.

If they do plan on giving Emory a chance then picking up a Jackson Arnold type QB is definitely a must to go with him. You do not just hand Emory the Job, you bring in someone to compete with him.
Why would he transfer to a school to compete? No shade, just want to know your mindset on this. I see this a lot “go and get a person who has already been a starter to be a possible back up” and I don’t get it. There is no incentive for that person

It's rumored that Dylan Raiola might be hitting the Portal.

If so, GIVE HIM ALL THE MONEY
Will he make other players follow him here? Is he regarded highly despite his team’s record?
We already have dudes on here saying his mid. However, cis has a proven **** poor record on player evaluation.
This was mention on Cover 3 podcast back in like week 11. And I'm not sure it was said just for ***** n giggles. It must have some legs.

However, Nebraska has the $ to up his NIL deal.

AND if he hits the portal, do we even have a shot? I know our season with Cam was successful for the perception of Mario being a 'QB killer'. However, Cam was a one and done to improve his draft stock. Raiola has at least 2 years left,

I'd certainly take him if he enters. I'm just unsure of our chances.
Hes already made and is making money. Now he’s looking to make the league. His dad is a former olineman and the way our qb’s have had protection for the past 2 years it has to be extremely enticing to come play here regardless of stadium, college experience, or whatever double standard narrative you want to apply.

We’ve proven that we can protect you and give you weapons.

Disagree. Emory hasn't proven enough imo.

In the 2 games where his play mattered he was

32/56 (57%)
326 yards (163 yards/game)
3 TDs
1 INT

So those performances made you think he will be ok?

Because he was forced out of his old school

We need our own QB.. Otherwise it means we can't evaluate or develop.

Williams it is.... Watch the bowl game..
Williams needs the opportunity to start, but we need to bring someone in to compete with him. He needs to earn it. What I don't want is for us to offer a big NIL and promise a starting job to some mid level or big question mark transfer like a Mendoza, Arnold Jackson, Mensah, etc. instead of setting the expectation of competition
