Mateer is by far the only QB in the portal worth anything. The rest are a bunch of jags. If you even want to dream about winning more than 7 games with man tatas as your coach, you better get this kid.

You have no idea what is happening behind the scenes. We may have someone in the works but won't even know for weeks. Chill and resume your whining later when we actually know what does or doesn't happen

They’d be stupid not to. But unless you’re a certified baller you’d also be stupid to portal to Georgia.

Beyond Mike Bobo you can look at how Smart handled Justin Fields and how he’s typically loyal to his system QBs. They took a kid from Wake years ago that never sniffed the field.

Georgia is a QB graveyard. Somehow.. still winning. I feel like it won’t be long before they’re they’re Les Miles’ LSU. It’s not sustainable with parity coming in recruiting and portal.

I mean i know you know, but UGA is elite almost everywhere else. Thats why they can win with inconsisitent QB and WR play.

Absolutely. Im not sure it’s sustainable going forward. Too much parity coming now. Saw it this year. They easily could have had 5 losses. They escape UK due to poor coaching decisions, UF because Lagway got hurt, and GT because they escaped a targeting late and plenty of penalties throughout the game.

They also breezed through Tennessee and got every call they wanted and didn’t get called for anything themselves. Impossible to win in Athens for that reason.

I choose to believe that the SC OC is going to App St (part1 done) and we get Sellers. Hope springs eternal!
