He's not my first choice and I don't think he's ours, but he doesn't stink.

He's playing better than any true freshman QB in the nation not named DJ Lagway. NC State fans love him. He's shown big-time poise and is a much better runner than expected. His passing is inconsistent- that will determine if he ends up as a solid ACC QB or an impact guy.

Again, my first choice to replace Cam Ward is another readymade star like John Mateer. But CJ Bailey has great intangibles and is much further along at the same age than the last QB to win the ACC (who also happened to be a South Florida kid).

The more I think about it the more Im on board with Jackson Arnold as the QB choice. 2 years left and has room to improve. Only worries is our coaching staff not developing him but I think he gives a chance to change our narrative about QB development.

Dont think Mario will take a chance with him though, instead we'll take CJ Bailey and Jackson Arnold goes to TCU or Ole Miss and tears it up there for 2 years.
 
Not in the portal yet but if Mateer follows his OC my choice would be the former running back with the 5 star arm talent and multiple years of eligibility remaining. No brainer here.

 
Jackson Arnold? I cant get on board with that at all.

Much rather have Bailey.

Castellonos is dynamic. If he goes to FSU he will be a problem. He can elevate them quickly. He was just in bad system fit with BOB. I hope he goes elsewhere.

Cant believe the Bailey slander on here. He was a true freshman.

Some of our functionally brain dead, propaganda-pushing “fans” want to downplay Cam’s impact on this team after everything he’s done to try to overcome a D’Onofrio-level defense that made his margin of error razor thin against any ACC opponent with a pulse.

Cam was nothing short of phenomenal for us. Anyone pushing an agenda to diminish his performance this year isn’t to be taken seriously.

Maeter -package deal with his OC headed to OU
Arnold -reclamation project for Dawson. Has the arm talent and legs
Miller Moss - would be a great fit.

My choice is Jackson Arnold as I think the WSU QB/OC are a package deal and Nuss is NFL bound.
 
Going from Cam Ward to Jackson Arnold would be like goong from 13-1 to 2-10.

If Arnold wasnt a 5 star recruit no one would mention him
