Don’t disagree with that thought process. If we somehow miss and get CJ/Colandria I’d want it to be competing vs Emory. Miami’s in trouble if any of those 3 start but wanted to show options.
 
Does anyone know if Mateer and Ward are close?? Any social media interaction?

give me someone who is comfortable in dawson's system. the real question is dawson even here next year or does he get a HC job elsewhere?

ward did not have to run a new system and hopefully the qb coming in doesn't either.

I just meant that last offseason, people were waiting for Dawson to be fired and I don't think we'll have a similar offseason of waiting for Dawson to leave

I find it interesting that people don't believe that the OC of the number one offense in the country won't receive openings for HC jobs.

I think it's cause they don't see any open right now that make them go "oh that's the one." And I'm sure more will come open after ESD. If he gets one, good for him. If he doesn't, good for us solely on the fact that we haven't had the same OC for 3 straight years since....? richt? lol

I dont think it will be for any decent programs. It would be like a Rice or G5 program. I think most schools are in the " was it Cam Ward or Dawson" mode. Cause they still remember 2023/TVD

Not saying nobody would hire him as HC. I think most schools would want to see more before handing him the keys.

Everybody knows that was on tvd. Dude had time to throw and was still bad. Then he wasn’t looking good at wisconsin

Next year, a few better jobs may open
Auburn. Vatech. Florida.
Better than Rice level
