The Majors are the ACC, SEC, Big 12 and Pac-12.

Then there's the dreck at the bottom (SWAC, MEAC, etc).

Therefore the best of the rest are in the middle or "mid" majors.

The best mid-major isn't even the AAC. It's probably the Big West whose current members have 13 CWS appearances in the last 20 years from 4 different schools.

We're Wake Forest. We will occasionally make it, but that crazy tuition is going to hamper our recruiting efforts.

I'm just happy that they mentioned us during the CWS.
