Proof of Randomness in College Baseball

Borderline personality disorder (BPD) is a serious mental disorder marked by a pattern of ongoing instability in moods, behavior, self-image, and functioning. These experiences often result in impulsive actions and unstable relationships.

Sounds like someone on this board, maybe a small hoofer?

We know that you can't win on the merits of any discussion but this is embarrassing changing of the subject even for you.

I've already won, you just refuse to recognize anything that goes against your narrative, by anyone so far. You deflect, ignore, name call and try to keyboard bully when backed into a corner.

Nobody has posted more facts in this thread (or any other) than me.

You've posted more about personality disorders and other subject-changing claptrap.

Who would have guessed that we would ever see this list of no-name teams in Omaha.....

Cal-State Fullerton
Florida
Florida State
Louisville
LSU
Oregon State
TCU
Texas A&M

Further proof that it's all a big roulette wheel and coaching has no part in it. Random.

I already used you to prove the OP correct.

The OP was not correct so that must have been a really great conjuring trick you did.

But anything you have to do to prop up your fragile ego.

A blue blood team with the second most wins in CWS history vs. a team coached by the best college coach in Florida. Hardly random, and it shows coaching matters. We are a blue blood team that failed to make a regional. Again, coaching matters and our coach failed, but you choose to make excuses.

I give Morris credit that his team did not give up, but the failures fall squarely on his shoulders. I would expect and hope he would say the same. I was always taught you play for championships, perhaps you come from the generation of participation medals.

Still do not understand your need to try to insult, name call and bully everyone. It is for that reason that I feel you have an issue and should seek professional attention. Not saying it to be funny, because it is not, saying it to try to help you.

I know this idiot has been band, but I just want to point out the AAC is 4th in RPI and the ACC is 3rd, so, weak conference and all.

Listed is the RPI, ISR and ELO ratings for each conference.

2015
ACC: 2nd, 2nd, 2nd
AAC: 3rd, 5th, 4th

2016
ACC: 1st, 2nd, 1st
AAC: 6th, 5th, 5th

2017
ACC: 3rd, 4th, 2nd
AAC: 4th, 5th, 4th

Also....

Super Regional teams (since 2015)
ACC: 11
AAC: 1

College World Series teams (since 2015)
ACC: 5
AAC: 0

You also managed to mangle his context.

caneproponent clearly mentioned that Mark Kingston went 24-33 and finished dead last in the AAC in 2016. So he finished last in the 6th rated RPI conference.

You should go back to pretending that you know about basketball.

It's not a weak conference. The MAC is a weak conference. Go have this discussion with Aaron Fitt or Kendall Rogers. I've had it before. They agree with me. I trust their opinion over a grown man who gives gatorade to high school football players.

It's not a weak conference. The MAC is a weak conference.

It's a mid-major conference that has only had one Super Regional team in the last 3 years.

Whether you think that's weak or not is a matter of opinion.

Jagr thinks the ACC is weak. So that's the turf with which this debate is being fought.

Of course you would discuss it with them. Those two guys are clowns.

You don't know anything about college baseball. That is clear and settled. I don't care if those two milquetoast buffoons agree with you. Go slob their **** if it gets you off. I don't care.

Classy dude we're dealing with here. And his job entails spending all day with high school boys at a catholic school.......

Yes, the two leading college baseball writers in the nation are clowns.

Yes, the two leading college baseball writers in the nation are clowns.

They are.

They have no qualifications to speak of.

If one wanted to be a national college baseball writer in 2000 (when Kendall Rogers started) then they could. There were no barriers to entry. National coverage of the sport was practically nonexistent.

They were journalism majors who liked college baseball and so they decided to cover it.

That's it.

So Kendall Rogers has been covering the sport, talking to coaches, talking to committee members, analyzing ratings and selections and bids, etc. for 17 years, but he's a clown and you know better than he does.

None of that means squat if the person doing those things has no concept of the game or cares more about rubbing elbows with people rather than being analytical.

Yes. He's a clown. And milquetoast.
