You also managed to mangle his context.

caneproponent clearly mentioned that Mark Kingston went 24-33 and finished dead last in the AAC in 2016. So he finished last in the 6th rated RPI conference.

You should go back to pretending that you know about basketball.

Unless the person being hired is related to Jim Morris (his boss) or Blake James (his-soon-to-be boss) then it doesn't constitute nepotism.

So let me understand your point. The BOT has no influence in decisions. Is that your stance? That was my reference as noted, but to be the funny guy you are, and to drag out points you chose to bring in Morris and James. I mentioned Daddy DiMare from the start as the influence with his position on the BOT and his money. Tell me Tiny, does that not wreak of nepotism to you? Had I meant Morris or James I would have said cronyism.

Go ahead and say I was correct from the get go.

Jim Morris hired Gino DiMare as one of his assistance coaches. That's not nepotism because Gino is not a relative of Jim Morris. Blake James hired Gino DiMare as the next head coach. That's also not nepotism because Gino is a not a relative of Blake James.

To make the claim that anybody that donates money to the school or serves on the BOT can be accused of nepotism if one of their relatives is hired to any position, anywhere in the University is asinine.

We're not talking about "anybody" who donates money or "any" position. We're talking about one of the most influential donors in University history and the head baseball coach position.

Gino DiMare was promised the head coaching job because of the influence his father has. If his name was Gino Stanley we would be opening a nationwide search after next year.
 
By the way....

56-4 Oregon State, # 1 in the RPI, # 1 in the ISR, the # 1 overall seed, the best team in the country, failed to even reach the Championship Series.

It's all chalk though. It's all predictable.

Lame. Let us know when Jim Morris beats an equal or higher seed in this crazy random sport where anything can happen. That's nine straight post-seasons, by the way, in which games involving Miami and a #1 seed were absolutely predictable at a rate of 100%. But random.

And if we had Kep Brown we would be in Omaha again.

By the way, since you are a program loyalist as you self described yourself, you remember the fan vs non-fan remark, did you support Al Golden as you do Jim Morris? If so, which a loyalist like you should have, do you feel it was wrong that he was let go for performance failure prior to the expiration date of his contract?

I know, right? College baseball is one big roulette wheel, which is why we see newcomers Oregon State, LSU, Florida, and TCU in the final four. Just a complete stunner.

Well, it will be tough. You know, the cost of UM vs the other state schools, no Collins, Hayward or Abreu to protect other batters, injuries (apparently only we get them) the Russians...
