Pete: Hearing anything on Billy Gibson

I'm just gonna refer to the boy on this one.

We gotta start earning respect. Richt got played once by Holloman. It ends there wth these divas. I'm not mad he's giving ultimatums.

I sense a double standard. Golden got crucified when he gave an ultimatum to Kirkland (who was almost assuredly playing us). Excuses

Miami's class needs studs to finish it. Billy Gibson is a decent enough player, but you could replace him with any number of DBs across the street from Miami, nevermind the state.

Where r they? Where is this safety?

He's the composite 122nd player in the state. 65th rated safety in the nation. 9th Rated safety in the state. You've got plenty of P5 prospects in that range at his position. He is a good player, but he isn't replaceable. State of Florida, South Florida in particular will produce many defensive backs every years that are *** and lower. Lets not act like Billy Gibson - a good player, don't get me wrong - is the only one, is what I am saying.

Randy Russell is better and faster. He's just a year later.

Don't do that to me Chise. I want RR in next years class BAD but I just think he isn't at the top of our wish list. Talk about a kid born to play SS and in our own backyard. I would **** sure find room.

And he may be a backup plan too...Considering Frierson and Hall look like 1 and 1A, and that doesn't include the Oxbridge kid.

Who is complaining when we get this Dean kid or maybe Brini? I don't know what Miami's class looks like after signing day or who gets in, but ffs, we are talking about one of the bottom 1/4 of our class. Players that are depth. Sky ain't falling, even if they are good players in their own right.

How is Pitt getting a better safety then us anyway? **** is crazy

'Cos he's from Pittsburgh? Some recruits are loyal.

Yeah, that has me shaking my head. A guy from Pitt, committed to Pitt, going to choose Miami at the last minute...

We couldn't convince Henry Miller, a Florida kid, to de-commit from Pitt in 2016, so I'm a little hesitant to think we can get a guy from that area to de-commit this late. Would be an incredible flip though.

Agree, I have my doubts. Although, Miller's brother goes to Pitt also....so not totally crazy we couldn't flip him.

Didn't know that about Miller's brother.

Ford is a district 7 WPIAL kid. Probably going to be a really tough flip. Best comp in PA though.

There is good football in Western PA I know Clairton is a huge powerhouse out there in Pitt, won states every year i was in high school & produced Tyler Boyd & this year Lamont Wade. Pretty impressive since they only single A. Hope we land this dude

Russell is a sprinter on the track team and his 200m time is approaching the national high school elite standard.

A sprinter with a serial killer's sadistic streak. Sign that motherfcker. That's how you build this **** back up. Not with 4.8 Safeties who played LB in HS.

With the way our recruiting goes with local divas, we will likely get to our Plan Bs and Cs at Safety. I'd go straight to Russell because he's a killer. He's a fast Chuck Cecil.

Nothing good ever comes from the dead period....oh wait the dead period only exists for Miami.
