Brown and Kennedy are SRs so they are gone next year anyway. I don’t think Manny would force them out at this point considering we need bodies at OL even if it’s just to get through practice. Maybe Brown can grad transfer but I’m not sure his academic standing. Dykstra is probably a solid candidate since he’s buried.

Agreed. I was referring to Brown and/or Kennedy grad transferring.

Believe it or not we need them. Its important to have 3 full offensive lines to practice with

Agree we need them for practice and I’m not kicking any of them out but if anyone of them leaves it would not surprise me. Don’t think anyone of them will see the field this year except maybe on FG’s.

I like that he has 4 to play 3 just in case he isn’t ready or gets injured we have that redshirt year to burn.
Yep, we can play him in 4 games and redshirt if need be. I don’t expect him to start this year but he could be a depth piece as the 4th or 5th guy at guard. I fully Expect Donaldson and reed to man the guard positions. Reed by the way is in incredible shape and lost a lot of bad weight

Had a longer post typed up, but I'll just say these 2 things:

1) Any additions to get more competition along the OL is a good thing for us. We need it. I honestly think this is the most important piece of the puzzle for us to get worked out to have a successful season. The more pieces Barry/Feeley has to work with, the better. Traore looks to have a little something to him as well - Hutchinson CC plays good competition, is a good JUCO program. I hope he plays his way into the rotation.

2) This could end up being an ice cold take, BUT - I'm super-high on Adam ElGammal. I think he's gonna be a future starter at one of the T spots for us. Could be as soon as next year.

If he can show up and be a competent 4th OG that's huge. Also provides additional insurance in case of an injury at C (Donaldson slides to C and this kid seems like a natural fit LG).

He has some tools to work with. Will need to keep hitting the weights but you like to see him always playing till the whistle. He is looking to pancake anyone in his path. He will be on the two deep for sure.

Agreed dude was looking to hit anyone. Looks to dominate his opponent. Clearly plays to the whistle. On a few highlights he even pancaked the defender right into his runner. I’m sure they will work on him keeping his head up but love the aggressiveness.

On a related tangent... I think this was our last remaining 2019 IC, which means no backcounting ICs for the 2020 class, capping 2020 at 25 recruits. Can anyone confirm?
